Good stay, cleaning fee was steep for having to do all the cleaning ourselves.
Good stay, the cabin could use a little TLC for the price. I know it’s a cabin, but the front was pretty much covered in cobwebs and most dishes that we used needed to be washed first. Cleaning fee was steep for having to do all the cleaning ourselves including transporting out garbage to avoid more fees. Bedding was very old and a bit musty. Again, I know it’s a cabin… just saying for the price and cleaning fee… Overall good stay but not the best value..

A little slice of heaven
We loved staying at this property! The Duck Creek Village area is so peaceful and lovely. We chose this location to be between Zion and Bryce NPs and it really filled the bill, while allowing us relaxing privacy in our down time. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the birds. There is a steep staircase to the sleeping area with the bathroom downstairs, which was no problem for us but could be for someone with mobility issues of any sort. I loved having the laundry on premises as we were on an extended trip and needed to get things washed along the way. The drive from Cedar City to the area was incredibly beautiful as well. We came in from the other direction and discovered that drive by accident. What a pleasant surprise!

Very nice cabin! Road to cabin not the best. Kitchen had everything you needed. Bedrooms up steep stairs but we had no trouble, in our mid 60’s. Recommend!

Nice quiet place that is actually in a forest with all amenities included. However, many cobwebs around the place and a pervasive bad odor through out that did not subside with leaving all the doors and windows open for an hour. Not impressed with having to take all the garbage out where it was not clear where to take it and having to take all the bed laundry downstairs.

Rustic Cozy Cabin
This cabin is very quaint and cozy. There are two queen beds with a large window on each side. The stairs are between the two beds as well as a drop down shade you can use for privacy. The living room has two comfy recliners, a couch and plenty of throw blankets around. There is a washer/dryer in the bathroom, the bathroom was extremely well stocked, as was the entire kitchen! We didn't have the time to cook, but everything you might need is there for guest use. Outside there is a grill, a fire pit on the ground and a deck fire pit as well, with plenty of seating for all of this!. There are two tv's, one up and one down. I was able to stream. The drive up the mountain would be "iffy" if there had been rain, but it was dry when we were there. The only difficulty we had was the stairs. And it is no fault of the owners. We are over 65 and the beds being upstairs and the bathroom being downstairs was not a particularly good fit for us. But I will say that the owners have done everything for safety. There are lights on the stairs that illuminate as soon as you step on that tread, so they are not lit up all night, only one at a time as you use them. Quite clever! Overall, I would say this is definitely a top notch place to stay if you want to be away from city lights! For those who love adventure, there are plenty of trails and rentals available right at the bottom of the mountain.

Comfy cabin.
This cute cabin with very comfortable had lots of amenities and a well-stocked pantry to boot! Unfortunately we didn't get to explore the area because of the heavy rain from the recent hurricane. Fortunately this cabin was very comfortable with excellent reclining chairs and gas fireplaces inside and out.

Very Cozy
This was a very comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. My wife and I came all the way from Missisippi and can’t wait to come back. The location is perfect for exploring diverse natural environments. We spent a day exploring the Grand Staircase (where the temperature hit triple digits) and the evenings in the crisp mountain air next to the fire pit at the cabin (where the temperature in mid August dropped into the 40s). I would definitely recommend this property and Duck Creek Village to anyone looking for a place away from the crowds to explore southern Utah.

More than we could have hoped!
This property was perfect! We ended 7 packed days here, and found it was just what we needed. Comfortable beds, quiet, dark place to sleep with open windows and mountain breezes. Kitchen was stocked so well, we could have made anything we wanted. This is rare. Randy’s communications were clear and super helpful. We would be thrilled to find a chance to return!

A Place to Breathe
My husband and I were needing a little break from hectic city life. This cabin, especially the deck, was all we needed. Everything was exactly as described and we didn't need to ask for a thing. Hours spent on the deck listening to and watching nature gave us the perfect opportunity to reconnect and recharge. Beautiful sunny mornings, afternoon thunderstorms, actual stars at night...we loved it all!!

Spring break weekend
The cabin is so cute and comfy! The owners are very accommodating, the cabin was stocked with every necessity you could think of. We couldn't use the deck or fire pit because of the tons of snow, but we still had fun with the board games and the snow sled. We're definitely looking forward to our next trip, Thank you!

We loved the Cabin! It was cozy and well equipped. The only problem with cleanliness was some cobwebs. The beds need new mattresses a simple fix and it would be a 5 star. Upgrading one to King would be super awesome!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion nat’l parks. Beautiful easy drives to both, and the cabin was like a vacation of its own! Best place ever to stay!
This is my second time staying at your house in utah. It is ideally located midway between Zion National Park and Bryce canyon. We also drove a little over two and a half hours to the northern rim of the Grand Canyon to hike for a day. The house is nicely furnished with modern appliances and a fully stocked pantry. The icing on the cake is the washer and dryer in the bathroom, so you can pack light for your trip and do some laundry while you are there. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the mule deer come out around the house in the evenings and early mornings. If I come back to Utah for a third trip, I will definitely be renting this house again thank you Susie Burket

We were looking for a quiet place to rest and enjoy God's creation. And hour from Bryce canyon and Zion national Park made it the perfect spot. The Learners do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. If you like to cook while you're away they have a well stocked kitchen and graciously allow you to use it.

We really enjoy hosting! We have found our guests to be some of the most interesting and personable people that share the same love for the outdoors that we do. We're happy to share our second home with you.

Why they chose this property

We chose this as our first cabin in Duck Creek Village because it is truly is a nice little get-away that is very comfortable and perfect for 2-4 people. We didn't want a large mountain home. We wanted a rustic place to share with family and friends that made them feel welcome.

What makes this property unique

This cabin has the rustic touches that make it just that....a cabin in the woods. It's intended to allow our guests to sit back and enjoy the surroundings yet close enough to venture out to several national parks for the day. The front deck is my favorite place. It's the perfect place to watch the world go by. Deer, squirrels and turkeys are regular visitors too.
