Great location, decent price but could do with improvements
Location was excellent, 10min walk into the City Center, safe neighbourhood, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby (recommend Chocolate & Co) and a small park nearby perfect for a dog or kid. Street parking provided and no issue finding a space. Rest of the stay was a mixed bag. Communication was sometimes delayed, and spread across emails, platform and different phone numbers. Took a few days for the host to reply to our questions before our expected stay but on the day they informed us of early check-in but door handle had been broken so we were unable to get in. Team were swift to respond this time, but we needed up having to wait a couple of hours in the city centre whilst they got someone in to repair. Inside, the property did have a lot of the essentials but the cleanliness of the kitchen items is dependent on how the previous people and ours were a bit dirty. Living room was nicely decorated with a Christmas tree but the rug that had been there had seen better days and probably should get thrown out. House has heating but the upstairs got quite drafty and cold and there were signs of moisture damage. Main bedroom was spacious but definitely just two single beds pushed together and tired mattresses. We were told we could checkout later, but coming back from breakfast there were builders working on the house, the cleaner came early and sounds like the team have communication problems. Overall, better communication, furnishing updates needed but otherwise nice location.
