This lake front property has amazing views, it is a quite relaxing atmosphere with a private dock .This Lakefront cabin has 2 bedrooms bath.. utility room.. screened in porch. This Rental also includes fishing boat with battery powered trolling motor and a canoe. The lakefront property is located just 15 miles from the famous JACK DANIELS DISTILLERY in Lynchburg Tenn.. Lincoln Lake is a private lake which does not allow gas powered boats . The nearest airport is Huntsville International which is 59 miles away. Lincoln Lake is a stocked private lake you are welcome to fish and a boat with a trolling motor will be provided. The lake and boat are only a few steps from the porch. This area is part of the famous bourbon trail! This is a great place to unwind and hunt or fish .The Flintville Wildlife Management Area is 5 minutes away its a 1000 acres of good hunting and the lake is only a few steps from the porch!

I would also be willing to trade a vacation trip to my lake house for an out of state hunting / fishing trip or a trip to the beach!

Everything you need

This was a peaceful and fantastic property. The location which is next to the park and close to the levy makes it perfect for kids and bank fishing. Boat and trolling motor available and we ended up catching 15 fish the last day. Owner was fantastic and very helpful. We will stay again and likely bring the grandkids!

Wonderful place to stay.

So quiet and relaxing. We caught fish and really enjoyed our 4 days. Definitely want to go back again. Had everything we needed and very clean and nice.

Uncle Tom was a great host. The cabin was spacious and comfortable and the lake provided more fun for my son and me. People in the association were friendly and we felt safe at all times. A true gem. I recommend this cabin to anyone wanting the perfect vacation spot.

Most relaxing vacation ever!

We had the best time on our vacation! The cabin was the perfect place for us to kick back and relax. We spent the week fishing! The boat was perfect for trolling around the lake. We caught several bass around the 5lb mark. And we both have the fish story of the one that got away! I left an approximate 5 lb there for someone, and 2 that have hooks in them because they broke my line! Tom and Laura are delightful hosts! Tom was so thoughtful and engaging. We met several neighbors while we were out. Everyone around was so friendly! You are in a remote area, yet close enough to run to Walmart if you need to. We had all the amenities that we needed for our 1 week stay! Beautiful view of the lake every morning and evening.

Wonderful, simple getaway location

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for 4 nights. It's right on the shore of the private Lincoln lake where you can fish and relax. The neighborhood is quiet except for the occasional goose call from across the lake. Tom was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. There were no issues and we enjoyed being there. We used the boat a couple of times but mostly sat on the shore to fish and enjoy the weather. Kitchen has all the basic cookware and cutlery. Keurig worked perfectly. The screened in porch was wonderful for our dog to relax while my husband and I fished. The cabin is about 20 to 25 minutes from Fayetteville. No wifi but the cable works great and Tom has movies and games for the rainy weather and nighttime. We didnt catch a ton of fish but could be due to the time of year and that it was still a little chilly overnight. Overall a good stay. Thanks, Tom!

Beautiful Lake

Stayed for spring break. Property is beautiful, and house has everything you need. Owner is very helpful. Fishing was slow in Early March, but we were still able to get into some fish. Would definitely stay again.

Nice little rustic cabin, exactly as advertised with beautiful scenery and the symphony of nature. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away from the city. My husband thoroughly enjoyed having a boat and fishing gear available and caught several fish both on the lake and from the shore directly in front of the cabin. I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing with a book on the screened in porch. Tom was wonderful and very responsive through the whole process. He also generously allowed us a free early check in and late checkout. We really hated to leave and my husband can’t wait to come back next year!

Great stay!!

The home was very clean and well maintained. Very peaceful neighborhood. I basically had the whole lake to myself nobody else on the water while I was there. Owner was great with promptly responding to any questions or concerns I had. I’ll be back in Spring for sure!!

slowing down..

We had a great weekend, the cabin and property where just right. We enjoyed fishing in lake and trolling in flat bottom. We walk across dam and talk with neighbors and others staying in homes. The cabin is very well equipped and queen bed sleep good. The fishing was pretty good.. Would love to come back and fish and build a big fire in the fire pit down by water side. The property owner was a joy to talk to and down to earth and very thoughtful. If you just want to slow down we'll this is the perfect cabin and environment.

Peaceful

Great view from the screened in porch. Very peaceful surroundings. The fishing was good and Tom provided a little john boat for use during our stay. Will be staying again in the fall and spring. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Tom is an excellent communicator. Responded to all of my questions immediately and checked in on us during our stay to make sure all was well. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Peace and quiet

Cabin as advertised. Tom, the owner, very helpful and super quick to respond. Comfortable bed and fully furnished kitchen and bath. The boat and motor are very capable of meandering you around the lake. The fishing was…never mind, I’ll blame myself. Cycling was surprisingly great. Drivers we’re courteous and careful. Just make sure you wave at every car. Seems as if it’s expected. Fayetteville is interesting to walk around. It also helps if you enjoy Canadian Geese. I do NOT. Highly recommended.

So peaceful

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfortable. Directv if you get bored of the view which we did not. Small community, everyone we spoke to was so friendly. Loved watching the geese, ducks and even saw a bald eagle. My husband had an awesome couple of days fishing and I enjoyed the screened in porch while reading. Tom was easy to communicate with and even let us check in early. Already making plans for next year!

Nice, quiet, comfortable spot on Lincoln Lake. Having the boat and motor available for use was A+

Great price and comfortable setting with all the attractions we wanted to visit in Tennessee and Alabama within an hour or less. Catfish and bass fishing were a bonus!

Property has a Jon Boat

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Having the Jon Boat and trolling motor was the final selling point for me. Spent Friday and Saturday fishing on the lake while Wife watched me from the screened in porch. Tom was extremely easy to communicate with and always answered right back when we had questions. I will be returning to stay again. Probably a little warmer month next time.

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful location right on the lake. We really enjoyed a chance to unplug and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with (pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, etc.) The gas fireplace was wonderful on cold nights. If you're looking to unplug, fish, and relax, this is the place to be!

Charming rustic cabin!

The cabin was very clean and well stocked with games, kitchen supplies, towels, etc. The location on the lake was very peaceful and our boys loved being right on the water and the fishing boat. The screened in porch was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for some relaxing family time!

Tranquil

The cabin was wonderful. The queen bed we slept on was so comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the lake from the cabin was not as visible as the windows and sills had not been cleaned. Their were cob webs in the entryway and porch as if no one had been there for a while. With that I still enjoyed our stay.Overall the cabin was very clean. Just would have enjoyed seeing out the windows.

Relaxing & Quiet

We enjoyed the serenity of lake, the ducks stayed in the water and were quite entertaining. This is the first cabin I stayed in that had a useable fishing rod and reel, I didn’t fish much but I did catch a small large mouthed bass.

I'm a retired Ag teacher that loves to hunt if any of you prospective renters has a property with big deer get in touch we will work something out! I live in Gurley Alabama about 30 miles from the lake cabin.

The view is beautiful and the neighbors are great. You can hunt in the morning come back and fish the middle of the day and go back for an evening hunt

This is a small private lake community with fresh water fishing and all types of wildlife, jet skis and motorboats are not allowed. I provide a fishing boat with a battery powered trolling motor. We are located just 5 miles from the Flintville Management area which is public hunting you can purchase out of star license over the counter you don’t have to draw for them
