About this property
Crystal Clear, by Veeve
A hearty helping of old-school British charm is given a dazzling modern makeover in this four-bedroom townhouse. Glamour and comfort go hand-in-hand here, allowing you to feel right at home (as well as infinitely more stylish). Settled on a quiet, leafy street and boasting its own garden oasis with al fresco dining area, it'll take something seriously compelling to lure you away. Luckily, the enchantingly historic neighbourhood of Greenwich is right on the doorstep.
Offering breathtaking views, a slew of must-see maritime attractions and the kind of architecture that transports you back in time, you'll certainly be glad of a few quiet evenings on the patio after all the excitement. Once you've rested up though, it's a piece of cake to get around town with Greenwich station just minutes away and Greenwich Pier offering the enticing option of a boat trip up the Thames.
There's an expert blend of elegance and homeliness here that's hard to come by. Out to impress as soon as you step inside is a spacious living room, where simple wood floors and invitingly cushy chairs bring a contrasting cosiness to the gilded features and arresting artwork. We'd recommend beginning by snuggling up on the cushion-stacked sofa by the window to enjoy a morning coffee. Quiet nights in call for a glass of wine on one of the plush armchairs behind, where a chandelier brings an elevated mood. Adjacent to this space, a reposeful lounge area provides the perfect spot for a film night with its large TV, striking emerald interiors and luxurious leather sofa.
Downstairs, you'll find a modern kitchen area modelling fresh, light-filled interiors and a generously-sized breakfast bar. The dining table lends an extra slice of style with its metallic top and industrial leather chairs. Doors open onto a neatly manicured garden, complete with patio and separate dining corner (plus BBQ). The four bedrooms keep it charmingly simple with fresh interiors and a minimalist aesthetic. However, the final word has to go to the principal bedroom, featuring a majestic super-king bed and swish en-suite bathroom.
We Love
It's hard to limit ourselves here, but it'd be remiss of us not to give a nod to the bathrooms. The principal en-suite bathroom encapsulates the overarching 'old charm meets new cool' vibe, pairing wood floors and a decorative fireplace with a sleek, freestanding bath tub and popping teal tiles. There's also that classic London brag of street parking available, which we think is a big plus for any home.
**To rent this property, the minimum age requirement is 25 years old.**
Home Truths:
No smoking, pets, or parties. This home has a very grown-up feel to it and is only suitable for adults, infants or children over 10 years old. As glamorous and/or cosy as they look, the log burner and fireplaces are just for show. On-street parking is available upon request. A laundry room can be found on the basement floor. Please note, as this property is for sale, occasional property viewings may take place during your stay. Where viewings are arranged, 24-hour notice will always be given. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.

Why they chose this property
A leafy oasis by the river just a few miles from Central London, Greenwich has never quite reached the popularity it should rightly enjoy, despite having some of the most spectacular architecture and parkland in London. Home to the Greenwich Maritime Museum as well as the 19th century clipper, the Cutty Sark, its sites of historical interest will keep history buffs happy for hours. Greenwich Park, one of London’s royal parks, has stunning views of Canary Wharf and the financial district, and boasts an impressive deer park. Its inhabitants are supposedly descended from the deer of King Henry VIII, who maintained a luxurious palace on the current site of the Old Naval College.
