About this property
Netherbeck Cottage - village location - hot tub
Just south of Coniston Village and not too far from the Ship Inn lies much loved stone built cottage, within easy walking distance of the village, lake, pubs and footpaths to the fells.
This bright, welcoming cottage has been renovated for the new season, two superb bathrooms, new furniture and fully re-decorated for 2020. The light and spacious open plan kitchen diner is fully equipped for family groups and leads out onto a deck with lake views, perfect for relaxing after a long day on the hills.
The cosy living room has a log burner, comfy sofas and a new smart tv. The hot tub is lovely, tucked away in the garden. It's a great base for Coniston, walking distance to the village, near the Ship Inn and not far to Torver. The larger than average garden is terraced, on three levels, with a bbq area and runs down to a lawn with a beautiful stream.
Lovers of all things 'outdoor' will find comfort here. Footpaths & cycle ways are close by, going down to the lake for the Cumbrian Way, or into the fells towards The Old Man of Coniston and beyond. Netherbeck is the perfect base for families and friends looking to explore the local area.
Ground floor
Entrance into light airy hall with separate W.C. There's a cosy lounge with comfortable seating, wood burning stove, TV with Sky, DVD player and views towards the fell tops.
The spacious dining kitchen is well appointed with microwave, electric and gas range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. The spacious dining area extends out towards a lovely outdoor sun deck with dining furniture, perfect for summer dining.
Just off the kitchen there is also a handy, small porch to store walking boots and outdoor gear.
