Nice but not great

It is not clear from the pictures but the cottage is actually attached to two other buildings. We thought it was detached. Bring supplies like loo roll as this is not provided. The cottage is clean and easy. There is lots to do nearby. The beds are comfortable and it is easy to find with clear directions

East Barn

The property was in a beautiful location but be prepared for very narrow lanes on access to and from the location. This is an upside down house with kitchen and living room upstairs giving a wonderful view from there . Everything you need is there but they have air source heat pump for heating and the controls / instructions are not clear so we resorted to a fan heater to keep warm . Only other issue was lack of cleaning items for bathrooms or kitchen and Sykes offered a linen/ towel change half way through as we stayed for two weeks but despite two emails requesting this, they didn’t reply and after stripping the beds and bagging it up , we had to wash them ourselves and luckily dry them on the line. Otherwise brilliant property and stay.
