## Space
Being on a hillside, the excellent holiday home is entered from the upper level on the north side, where the living area benefits from the stunning views. On this level, there's a spacious living room with a dining area, plus patio doors leading to the balcony with lovely views - the perfect spot for dining in the summertime. The kitchen comes with an integrated fridge-freezer, electric oven & hob, and dishwasher and washing machine. Off the entrance hall are a guest toilet and a store cupboard.
Stairs lead down to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master suite with 'zip & link' beds has its private bathroom plus built-in wardrobes and patio doors to the terrace. The second bedroom also has access to the terrace and built-in wardrobes. In addition, there's a spacious family bathroom with a full bath and an overhead shower. The terrace off both bedrooms is entirely private, surrounded by hedges, and comprises a sizeable cobbled area with a stone table & benches with beautiful bottle-brush trees to the rear of the terrace.
Pathways lead down through the development and mature gardens to the communal pools, heated for most of the year. The Santo Antonio Golf Course is just a 2-minute drive away, and the beaches at Salema and Boca do Rio are less than a 5-minute drive away.
This property is perfect for anyone wanting a holiday so close to the golf course and only 3kms from the seaside village of Salema with its golden, sandy beach. Other resorts such as Burgau and Luz are within a short 10-minute drive, like the beautiful surfing beaches on Portugal's West Coast. And for those who enjoy hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, etc., the beautiful Costa Vicentina Natural Park surrounds the village.

## Neighborhood
Our holiday home is in Budens, a small village close to Lagos. It is very popular amongst golf lovers, families, surfers and nature lovers.
A selection of restaurants & bars is there for you to explore both local and international food. We recommend trying fresh fish and seafood dishes! There is a supermarket just minutes away by car, which can be reached on foot. The beach of Salema is a 5 minutes drive. Like Burgau and Praia da Luz, other beaches are just a short drive away. So whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy a fantastic hike in nature, Budens is the place. And if you do crave the city life at some point, Lagos is only 15 minutes away. In the other direction, you will find Vila do Bispo and Sagres, which both have lots of bars and restaurants and stunning beaches to offer.
## Transit
You can reach Budens in just over an hour by car from Faro Airport, and a car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 4 to 5 hours. The last train stop is in Lagos, from where you have to continue by bus or taxi.
Although public transport is available and safe, if you want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.
