The villa is fully serviced with a chef, butler, housekeeper & security. The rate includes the villa staff, daily breakfast and all taxes and service fees.
The villa is immaculately maintained, incorporating the best of contemporary indoor / outdoor tropical design. Three of the villa’s en suites have private open-air gardens, whilst there are also three open-air dining areas that look over the lush tropical garden and swimming pool. There are many private corners within the properties 3 buildings enabling guests to find their own space and tranquillity.
A puri is a Balinese palace and a pura is a Hindu temple; the village temple is located adjacent to the villa entrance. Guests can observe traditional Balinese ceremonies here and also enjoy a walk behind the temple to the nearby river. Puri Pura’s delightful Balinese staff give offerings every day in the villa.
Three girls: an excellent cook, butler and housekeeper are at the villa catering for guests every need. At night there is a security guard so there is always someone on hand to help. All the villa staff speak good English, they shop for guests groceries and prepare meals from an extensive menu including both Asian and western dishes.
Puri Pura offers guests a unique hospitality experience; massage and spa treatments are available in the villa where one can enjoy all the amenities of a 5 star resort; there really is little reason to leave! However should you wish to venture out the staff will assist to organise transport and day trips with experienced tour guides. There are numerous quality restaurants within walking distance where you can savour Bali’s famous sunsets over the Indian Ocean. Plus many local attractions including surfing, horse riding and one of Asia’s best golf courses.
Although Puri Pura is only available for rent as one private unit, the property actually consists of three separate villas.
The main villa runs the length of the pool and houses the master bedroom, twin bedroom (both with en suite) and a large open plan living and kitchen area. Adjacent to the main villa are two identical self contained one bedroom villas; one enjoying a view of the pool and the other looking onto the lush tropical garden.
French windows open onto the garden and pool area from the master bedroom. Here a four-poster antique bed is complimented by antique occasional furniture. Hidden behind the bed is a large walk through wardrobe and dressing table, which leads to an attractive open air en suite, complete with bathtub, sitting shower and a standing shower in the private garden under a frangipani tree.
With our 3 bedroom booking option, guests have a choice of using 3 double bedrooms or 2 double rooms and a twin bedroom. All rooms have TV’s, plus safety deposit boxes and are air-conditioned. The master bedroom and twin bedroom connect to the living area.
The spacious living area enjoys a wall-to-wall view over the garden and pool through three French windows. These can be opened onto the garden or closed off enabling the room to be air-conditioned. A large L shaped banana leaf sofa and a day bed provide comfortable lounging areas, which maximise the garden view. There is a 42” smart TV with surround sound home entertainment system and satellite channels. Antique artefacts and furnishings adorn this space complemented by contemporary artwork – creating a rarefied ambience. A long black granite bar partitions the living area from the open plan kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with large fridge/freezer, gas oven and hobs, double sink, water dispenser, toaster, blender and juicer, plus quality flatware and silverware.
The two identical one-bedroom villas both enjoy private open-air terraces with lounge, dining and kitchen areas and garden views. Both double bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds, rattan chairs, plus built in wardrobes and dressing tables. The guest room en suites enjoy open air showers and small rock gardens.
Four sun loungers flank the lap pool; two at either end on white palimanan stone patios. Also in the garden a dining table (sits 8) enjoys the breeze, although is situated under a gazebo for shade.
