About this property

Located in the Okanagan Landing area, this is an ideal getaway retreat. Enjoy your own private, 2-bedroom suite, with full kitchen and laundry as well as a side patio with complete privacy. Amazing lake view along with stunning hillside view to enjoy your morning coffee outside. The property is bright and spacious with 9' ceilings throughout. The open kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, bar seating and off to the side a storage room with private front loading full-size washer & dryer. It's tastefully decorated and arguably the nicest view in the Okanagan! Bedroom one has a king bed with walk in closet while bedroom two has side by side single beds.

Three minute drive (or ten minute walk) down to the lake to enjoy beach volleyball, playground, large green area for frisbee or just laying in the sun! Drive a few minutes up the hill to enjoy a round a golf at The Rise with 6,843 yards of the best golf conditions in the Okanagan and enjoy one-of-a-kind views 1,000 feet above Okanagan Lake. 10 minutes away and you are in the heart of downtown where you can explore boutiques, numerous restaurants and coffee shops. Along the way you can stop in and visit Davison Orchard which is a tourism hot spot with its train ride, hot apple pie and activities for the kids.

The area is full of hiking and biking trails, over half a dozen golf courses, fine dining and casual eateries. We are near 3 Provincial Parks (Ellison, Kekuli Bay and Kalamalka ), 3 Lakes (Okanagan Lake, Kalamalka Lake and Swan Lake), Atlantis watersides, a 25 minute drive to Silver Star Mountain Resort and 20 minute drive to Sparkling Hill Spa. If you're up for a night, you can even take a drive out to a drive-in movie, or take the plunge and jump out of plane at the airport below us! There really is something for everyone!

Breathtaking

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Suite was very clean, love the openness. Views were phenomenal. We encountered wild deer on a daily basis, which the kids loved. Very quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we needed. Thanks again. If we come yhst way again, we hope to stay in the same suite and will also recommend to others.

Great place, great location

Our family of four (two teenage kids) stayed here for a week in July. The suite’s layout and furnishings were perfect for us. The hosts are readily available and easily reachable. The view and the patio are better than any photo could capture. The beach, park, and downtown areas are close and easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

The property is as advertised, very clean and great for our family of 4. The view is gorgeous, the beds are very comfortable. Lots of storage room. We were concerned about the fires and smoke, be sure you read the cancellation policy before you book. But we ended up having a fantastic visit to the area with very little smoke and lots of lake time.

Perfect spot

We just got home from a great trip to Vernon. This suite was perfect for our family. Air conditioned in the heat wave, close to friends staying on the lake, gorgeous view and little patio for morning coffee and evening yoga. Kids loved the games and the pie that was waiting on arrival. The unit was clean and easy to use. Really can’t beat the views and it was close enough for all of our adventures and a sweet oasis to come back for afternoon chill time out if the sun. Thanks for a wonderful place!

Loved the view

Tasty welcome gifts awaited us in this spotless appartment, Communication with David and Jennifer was easy and quick. We would recommend though, that kitchen ware and dishes are stocked up, I found it a real challenge to cook for a family of 5 with the few small pots and pans provided. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great views, clean space

We had a fabulous time! The owners were very friendly, prompt to respond, and generally helpful. The property was very clean and cozy. Beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of extra towels/cloths/sheets. We loved watching the sun set behind the mountains/lake from the window or patio - wow, what a view!! For parents, the master closet is large enough for a PNP. We were also pleased at how easy it was to get to activities from this location.

Great Okanagan Stay!

From the moment we booked this rental to the time we checked out, our hosts were awesome!! They even had a small welcome gift for us when we checked in. My wife and I have rented several vacation rentals including Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, San Francisco, Napa, Halifax and this place in Vernon is at the very top of the list when it comes to cleanliness, comfort and living space. It was perfect for my wife and I and our two kids. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to all.

Great view, fantastic hosts, sweet suite!

Jennifer and David went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Such a warm welcome and what a view! Excellent tips for fun activities. Our teen boys loved the large bunk beds. We slept great too. It felt like home away from home. Clean and new suite. Sad to leave. Happy to have met the Gray’s!

Great Property!

We were very pleased at how clean and spacious this suite is. It was well stocked and new including new kitchen appliances. The owners were vey accommodating and informative. It has a great view of the lake and location is close to everything that you need in Vernon. Our family of 4 (including 2 teenage boys) did not feel crowded at all! We would definitely come back to this property again.

We had a fantastic time at this location. We have a family of 5 and it had everything we needed. It was in a great location. Actually had a deer walk within five feet of me while sitting on the deck having my evening cocktail. I would recommend this rental to others. The owners are great to deal with and were quick to respond to any questions we had.

Beautiful suite with amazing views

This is the perfect place to stay in Vernon. It is exceptionally clean, quiet, spacious and is equipped with everything you need. The beds are big and comfy. The patio overlooks the beautiful Lake Okanagan. It's so relaxing to sit and watch the boats and the skydivers come down. Easy access to everywhere we needed to go. Jennifer was super easy to communicate with and the little extras she provides are so thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for active family

Gorgeous lake view, spacious and tastefully decorated interior

We spent 6 days at this beautiful property in Bella Vista during the hot days of August, 2017. As this had just come on the market, it was one of the few places left. What a gem. The views were spectacular and we spent most evenings eating dinner on the patio, watching the boats on the lake and after dark, watching the moon shimmer off the lake. In the morning, the sun warmed up the patio and we enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the kite gliders float down to the airport or watching the deer grazing the grass close by. The kitchen was well equipped and had an efficient design. The laundry room was very large with extensive shelving. And the large walk-in closet provided ample space for storage of clothes and suitcases. The king bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful soft linens. As there were only 2 of us, we did not use the second bedroom with a bunk bed. We also did not turn on the TV as we spent all our time enjoying the patio. Jennifer and David were gracious hosts and we would definitely recommend this accommodation to family and friends.
