Lovely enjoyable stay
What's not to like about Causey view. Well presented, clean property. Everything we could need was in the property. Comfy double bed, didn't use the other room. Specious cottage for us two. Stunning views and we love Braithwaite village. Home from home..we didn't want to leave!

Beautiful bungalow
Amazing holiday in such a lovely bungalow, fantastic location. Would return Only negatives would be no logs provided for the log burner and a welcome pack would be helpful.

Very comfortable
Causey View is in a great location with lovely walks available from your doorstep. There’s a good selection of cafes and pubs nearby. The bungalow is extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed. We had questions during our stay and Rebecca at Keswick Cottages was a star. We very much hope to return.

Home from home
Enjoyed our visit to Causey View, great location handy for walks starting from the door and local buses to Keswick there is also a local store a few yards away and three bars in the village. Excellent accommodation, clean and comfortable throughout. Will certainly return in the future.

Perfect base for fell walking holiday
1st time booking through Keswick cottages and wouldn’t hesitate to use the company again, great communication and property well represented. Braithwaite is a great location with walks from the door, 2 pubs in the village and a shop which opens daily. Causey View was a perfect base, warm, clean, comfortable. Our requirements were exceeded with log burner, bath and comfortable bed. Spacious and well equipped kitchen and a fantastic utility space for storing and drying walking gear ( and beer and wine). Very quiet location, no passing traffic due to cul de sac location. Would be delighted to return, thank you.

Excellent cottage for stay in Lake District
Excellent location, enjoyed many walks from the door Beautifully refurbished, good layout, particularly liked the open plan kitchen/living space which worked well for us Excellent utility room with great facilities for drying wet kit Only a few minutes drive from Keswick if you need a supermarket shop, but essentials available in village shop

Great Location and comfortable accommodation
Excellent location for local walks and basic amenities, great to walk to the bus stop for regular service to Keswick. The weather was cold so we found accommodation quite cold. Very clean and comfortable. Outdoor furniture could do with a refurbishment.

Another Great Stay
This was our 3rd stay at Causey View in the gorgeous village of Braithwaite. The location is wonderful with views of the fells and close to pubs serving food and bus stops nearby to visit surrounding areas. A fabulous area for walking access for Higher climbs and also gentle scenic walks. The property was immaculate and clean with everything you could need. The utility / drying room was much appreciated.

Stay in sept
Really enjoyed our stay the property is in a lovely location, the facilities are good although the washing hanger outside appeared to not work and it would be good if the single beds in the second bedroom were zip and link

Best property yet!!
After many years with Keswick Cottages in Keswick and surrounding villages Causey View was outstanding. But our meal in the Royal Oak was no match for our regular …. The Pheasant on Crosthwaite road! We will be back ! Thankyou.

Cosy bungalow in the middle of Braithwaite
This bungalow is a great choice, it seems to be recently decorated so is smart and clean with a modern bathroom and kitchen, and large yet cosy living area and good size bedrooms. It has all the appliances you’d need, good heating and hot water, separate utility room/boot room and is within a couple of minutes walk to the village shop. Off road parking is a bonus. Communication with the owner to extend our stay was easy and well managed.

Lovely week in this comfortable bungalow
We enjoyed a lovely week in this comfortable bungalow in beautiful Braithwaite. The cottage has a great layout with open plan living room, diner and kitchen. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and peaceful. There is a large bathroom / shower room and a great utility / boot room. There is a nice front garden and a small, private back garden. The cottage is well equipped with plenty crockery, equipment and modern appliances. The furniture is comfortable with nice curtains, cushions and pictures in keeping with the area. We had just a couple of suggestions to make the property even better: provide kitchen roll on arrival, no spatula for frying eggs, some coffee pods for the coffee machine, a washing basket for laundry. All pretty minor stuff in the grand scheme of things,

Holiday Accommodation
We've stayed at Causey View for a holiday for the past three years. Being in Braithwaite, the bungalow is situated in the perfect place. We have enjoyed luxury holidays here and would love to come again. Having said that, the double bed has a hard mattress that my wife cannot get used to. She cannot sleep on it very well at all. For this reason we won't be booking next year, although everything else about the bungalow is absolutely fantastic.

Wonderful Holiday
Causey View in the most comfortable and clean accommodation we have stayed on a self catering holiday. We found everything we would need to use there. We didn't really cook as there are two pubs very close in the village which serve delicious meals also another restaurant which we didn't try. We parked our car on the drive and got a local bus when we didn't want to walk to Keswick, we walked in the area and up on the fells although we had very hot weather so we didn't go to high as usual. The rear garden was lovely to sit in after a long walk and the sound of the Coledale Beck was relaxing. This was our 2nd time here and we love it so much we have booked to return next year, I really didn't want to leave.

Comfortable spacious bungalow with all mod cons
This bungalow is a great choice, it seems to be recently decorated so is smart and clean with a modern bathroom and kitchen, and large yet cosy living area and good size bedrooms. It has all the appliances you’d need, good heating and hot water, separate utility room/boot room and is within a couple of minutes walk to the village shop. Off road parking is a bonus. Communication with the owner to extend our stay was easy and well managed. I think it would be good value for money at other times of the year, but a little expensive over Christmas - e.g. we paid twice the price of a week next March currently available on the web site.

Clean house with comfortable furniture. Spacious bathroom and lovely modern kitchen. Great views. Efficient central heating system. Very good tourist information provided in a folder showing lots of different walking routes.

Causes view
Lovely clean comfortable and plenty of room in this bungalow. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay, just a shame that the only pub in that small village we were told did food, they had closed their kitchen for food. Which meant we had to use the car to travel in to town for a meal each evening. Although we did use the hotel which was just few minute walk from our bungalow for a meal and their Sunday roast was excellent. But of course it was more expensive. Lovely countryside in Lake District but far too busy even in Autumn. Also car parks are a rip off.

Perfect
Spent many years visiting the Lakes but the first time staying in Braithwaite Bungalow was very modern and very spacious and comfortable. Stayed during the heatwave and the bungalow was very cool to come back to after being out early. We will be back.
