Bridge Mews. A great location.
This property is very conveniently situated and is very well equipped with all you will need for your stay in Keswick. It has its own dedicated parking spot on site. Everything at the cottage is good quality from the large comfy bed to the washer/dryer to keep up with any washing needed. We are looking forward to coming back.

Excellent as usual
We have stayed here before on two occasions and it was just as good as it has been previously. There was a problem with the boiler but that was quickly rectified.

Hidden gem
Had a wonderful stay at Bridge Mews. The location is spot on for stays in Keswick with everything within minutes walk. Added bonus of parking space. The cottage is cosy, with all sorts of features, and quite luxurious. Great support from Keswick Cottages, providing all the arrival details and prompt response when I had a query. Great little property which we'd love to return to and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Excellent in all ways
We have stayed here before and will be staying here again in the future. It is well equipped and well located. Our dog would probably only give it four for comfort as she struggles to come down the wooden steps from the living room to the ground floor.

Great cottage, great location
The cottage was very well equipped and warm, which was very welcome after very wet and windy days out and about. It had everything you could need so we stayed in more than we expected. Only a few minutes walk into Keswick centre and with on site parking. 2 suggestions for improvement: - a draft excluder for the bottom of the front door - as it is part of a small complex, an electric car charger would be a welcome addition for the future

Bridge Mews
A lovely property for 2 people. Very well equipped, lovely and warm, extremely comfortable all round. Excellent location too, so handy for everything. Very quiet despite being next to Booths supermarket. We have rented properties through Keswick Cottages many times. They are so easy to deal with and are as helpful as always.

Keswick Convention
Our fourth stay! The property was perfect for our needs with the Convention just over the road. Very comfortable and a small issue dealt with speedily.

An annual stay for the Convention, combined with holiday.
This cottage is compact, but ideal for 2 people. It has everything you would need in the kitchen, so you don't need to bother to bring items (eg tin openers) from home, as you might have to consider in some places. This year, we noticed that several items had been replaced / reupholstered and it's nice to know that it is being maintained to the high standards that the owners obviously try to achieve. We have always found Keswick Cottages a helpful agency & this year the owner has supplied a direct email address & telephone number in case of problems as they do their own maintenance. This was helpful as this was the first year I've had trouble with the speed of the Internet connection & they have already referred the matter to their internet provider.

Excellent all round
The property is excellent in every way. The only caveat that I would have is that the stairs might prove difficult if you have an older dog that is not very mobile.

EXCELLENT CHOICE
My family and I have been coming to Keswick for over 25 years and I have just spent a week at Bridge Mews and found it to be an Excellent Choice. The open plan was ideal and spacious with the woodburner adding a cosy feel on what was a very cold week. Location and parking was good too. Would definitely use again.

Wonderful week at Bridge Mews
Keswick Cottages are a really good company their customer service and friendliness is excellent, we usually book through this company as the properties they provide are of a high standard. Bridge Mews did not fail to please, lovely accommodation The only comment I would make regarding the property was there was some damp in one corner of the bedroom

Very Cosy Self-Catering Rental
A very comfortable fully self-contained rental property. Close to the centre of Keswick yet in a very quiet location. Management team and staff were friendly and helpful.

Bridge Mews
This was our second stay at the Bridge complex. We choose Bridge Mews as there was only the two of us. On arrival the property was well presented. We were delighted there was a washing machine as it wasn’t noted on the website. We did notice a damp patch in the bedroom at the end of the week. However overall a positive review and we hope to rebook.

This company has always been reliable.
This company has always been reliable. We have now stayed with them (annually, most years) since 2008. We find the property descriptions on the website are good & accurate, so you can get a good impression of what you will get if you are choosing a property that you have not used previously. We go to Keswick to attend the annual Convention & the location of Bridge Mews is superb since they moved to the single location of the old Pencil Factory for the Convention. It's literally just across the road from the Rawnsley Centre. I have only scored the comfort level of this property at 4, which might be a bit unfair, but you can't choose 4.5. The dining table and chairs are set so that it is very awkward to get in & out of your seat at the table as there really isn't enough room to push your chair back. If you put one chair facing the wall that causes problems with seats catching the rug. So this year we moved the table forward keeping the seats facing each other which worked better. There could be more electric sockets in the lounge - we brought an extension lead with us this year as we've only found a double socket hidden behind an occasional table which is difficult to access without going into contortions. Again, I have only scored the condition level of this property at 4, which again is a bit unfair. However, the fridge has a broken latch on the freezer door & the door of the fridge now has a tendency to drop so it doesn't close perfectly to seal, so we had some problems with food in the door shelves not being cold although left in overnight & the fridge on its minimum setting. The tap in the sink in the bathroom is getting very stiff & you have to be very careful when switching it on to avoid it turning on too strongly which results in water bouncing out of the sink & soaking you (all reported by email to Keswick Cottages on our departure, so these may already have been rectified). The kitchen equipment is pretty comprehensive. You are unlikely to need to bring anything with you unless you want something pretty esoteric. The oven is microwave only so look for the instruction manual (in the top RH drawer of the cupboard unit by the table). It takes a bit of getting used to. Towels are supplied, but there is only one large bath towel, one large hand towel & two smaller hand towels (one of which I always take upstairs to the kitchen). So, if you don't want to share the large bath towel, you might want to bring an extra one with you, which is what we do.
