Located high up on the hillside and surrounded by working farmland, these detached holiday properties, adjacent to the owner’s home, really are the perfect location for guests wanting to really explore the local area and beyond. Perfect for guests of all ages and abilities, both cottages have been sympathetically designed to accommodate wheelchair users and guests with limited walking ability, and they hold a Visit England Level 2 Disabled Property accreditation. Beautifully renovated and furnished to a very good standard, both cottages offer exceptional comfort and facilities. All on one level, guests will find a spacious and well-presented living room, with views across the surrounding hills and countryside. Each has a large, well-equipped kitchen, perfect for enjoying a well-cooked evening meal. Alice’s Cottage has three bedrooms, which include one single room, one family room and one double room with an en-suite shower room, as well as a large family bathroom with a shower for the disabled. Nelly’s Cottage also has three bedrooms, one of the twin bedrooms has an en-suite shower room with facilities for wheelchair users. Low Cornriggs Farm has won two Green Tourism Awards from the North Pennines Tourism Partnership, which are awarded to an enterprise which makes a ’positive contribution to tourism and the environment in the North Pennines’. The owner also sells Hereford beef.
