Great location, accommodation so-so.

Hard to find a better location in Lisbon. However, the apartment was a mixed bag. It is roomy and bright with elevator access. The A/C did not seem to cool very well and the floors were buckling in places. The bed in the master bedroom had a flat sheet that was not long enough to cover the bed so the mattress was exposed. The kitchen was equipped with cutlery and pots and pans and a one day supply of soap for the dishwasher and a small washing liquid container. Nothing else! Most rentals have oil, vinegar, coffee, salt and pepper. If not provided by the property manager then left behind by other guests. This kitchen was bare of any provisions except for one roll of paper towels. To finish it off the freezer door was attached closed by a bungee cord. The location and size of this apartment saves it. It could use some attention.

Hot Stay in Lisbon

The location of this property is great as it is very close to many of the tourist areas; however, the check-in process is not. With big suitcases we had to store our luggage at a site far away from the property before the check-in time. Then the place had no working air-conditioning as was promised in the listing. There is no way that Feels Like Home didn’t know this ahead of time. They sent fans. In the summer, fans are of little help. The floor in the master bedroom was rotten. The door to the freezer was held together by a bungee cord. The manager promised to try to send out a repairman to fix the AC. Never happened. I would not recommend this property at all.

Great location, needs upgrades

Pros: - Wonderfull location in the heart of old Lisbon, about a 10-min walk to St George castle. There are dozens fantastic restaurants within a 5 minute walk. For breakfast, our two recommendations are for Dear Breakfast and The Folks Chiado. - Communication with the host was great and the check-in/check-out process was easy. I had a couple of questions during our stay and got responses right away (via WhatsApp). - The apartment is in the charming building with large windows and exposed limestone accents, that give it a lot of character. Now to the cons: This apartment has major deferred maintenance that really needs to be addressed if the unit is continued to be offered for short-term rentals at this price. The large bedroom and en-suite bathroom have water damage. The bedroom floor at the bathroom entrance has basically rotted out floor boards. The bathroom design is unfortunate - there is no barrier to contain water in the shower section, other than the half-partition (and nothing to catch it on the floor). There was a wet, moldy mat that we had to replace with one of the towels. Not sure what happened in the kitchen - the fridge had a giant scratch and the freezer door was held up with a bungee chord (the kitchen scene with two velociraptors from The Jurassic Park comes to mind). It’s a really lovely property that will hopefully be brought back to high standards, to match the surrounding area and the historic building.

Great location. Comfortable. Great for family.

Beautiful apartment in corner of building. Looks exactly like photos. Clean bedrooms and common area and well appointed with comfortable furniture to enjoy after a long day walking Lisbon. Checkin office staff are excellent and available by WhatsApp immediately upon texting. Very attentive staff and check in. Luggage lockers are very helpful and their location in the office is convenient. Bathrooms should be cleaner. The carpet on the floor outside shower was filthy and remained wet at all times. It was also situated under the toilet too so the access to both toilet and shower was gross. Had to wear shoes in the bathroom.

Relaxing in Lisbon

The apartment was clean, quiet and centrally located. Excellent value. Well equipped in terms of kitchen utensils, but zero spices or condiments had we wanted to cook (not even salt of sugar). Lots to explore from the apartment and easy to get places by foot. Would definitely recommend it for families (we have two children under 10).

Bella casa, ottima posizione, dotazioni e manutenzione scadenti

La casa era esattamente come nelle foto, spaziosa e luminosa, con doppi vetri per cui anche molto silenziosa, in una posizione perfetta per girare a piedi la città e vicina alle fermate dei mezzi pubblici, ci è piaciuta molto. Invece la manutenzione era molto scarsa, il pavimento in laminato tutto sollevato, macchiato e brutto, il tavolo da pranzo in laminato tutto rovinato, nel bagno della camera matrimoniale c'era sempre una forte puzza di fognatura, la porta del freezer era rotta, e mancava la dotazione minima della cucina, al nostro arrivo non abbiamo trovato assolutamente niente, nemmeno una bottiglia di acqua, il sale, l'olio e lo zucchero (noi viaggiamo moltissimo e non mi era mai successo!!). Procedura di check in molto disagevole: nessuno ci ha accolto nell'appartamento e non era prevista la possibilità di self check in, ma abbiamo dovuto andare noi a prendere le chiavi presso l'ufficio della società Feel like Home (20 minuti a piedi dalla casa!) e abbiamo addirittura dovuto pagare €30 per avere un secondo mazzo di chiavi. Anche questo non ci era mai successo. Un vero peccato che una casa così bella sia gestita così male!
