Lovely Pocono retreat located on Larsen Lake within the Big Bass Lake Community (BBLC). Spacious living room with panoramic lake views, vaulted ceilings with skylights and stone fireplace. Sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 bedrooms with 2 baths. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Wrap-around deck (with separate screened-in porch area) overlooks private sandy beach with dock. Firewood is included. Free Wifi.
Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $20/night per pet or $100/week per pet.

Great Vacation Spot

The house was as advertised. Very clean and has everything you need. Loved that there was a washer and dryer. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Owner did a great job communicating ahead of trip. Kids loved using the community amenities as well as the lake at the house. Looking forward to a return visit!

Great Family Lakefront Cabin

My family and I just stayed here and we enjoyed our stay, especially the boats. All boats are here as pictured. The bathrooms are beautiful and and the outdoor deck is so nice and made of beautiful material and wraps around and has up and down dividers so a dog or child won’t fit through. The rooms were roomy and the kitchen was well equipped and the appliances were clean. They have just about everything you need , so don’t overpack. We relaxed so much that we never even went to get our passes. Even when we went fishing we caught several kinds of fish including perch, crappy, pickerel and bass. We also appreciated the gas grill and screened in patio. The cabin is in a quiet area on a-de-sac and the deer were out there everyday . As well, the fire pit area was gorgeous!! The furniture is beautiful and new and such a nice material. There is also fresh cut firewood and such a great dock with a bench. This cabin is on a lake, in the woods with such an amazing lakeside view.

Lake vacation

We had a great time at the house. Everything was clean and ready for us to move in. The lake toys were a plus. Wish the water was a bit deeper and better for swimming but we made it work. The dock and the fire pit were great. One thing is we wished check in time was earlier and check out could be earlier, we left by 9am! We did get notified the house was cleaned and we could go in an hour before official check in. Nice quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Lake Life

Lovely house on peaceful Larson Lake. Super clean. Canoe, kayak, and rowboat were great. Caught a few fish. Made smores at the firepit. Road miles on our bikes. House is as advertised: rustic with modern amenities. Joe was an excellent host.

Review

Advertisement showed house with beach and chairs and there was no beach with chairs. Back door was hard to close and lock. Screened in porch had a musty odor. Were out of supplies that were advertised as there. Other than that everything else was fine. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife and my boys enjoyed the lake and the relaxation.

The lake was very scenic. Fishing was great. All catch and release but we caught perch, crappies, large mouth, sunnies and pickerel. House was awesome.

Our warm weekend on a chilly day

We enjoyed our stay so much!! It felt like our own family home was waiting for us- the fireplace made us feel warm and cozy after our hanging out by the lake-we loved being there! Can’t wait to go back! Great hosts!

Wonderful Lake house

The location on the lake is really nice, I love that there are boats and firewood included. The house was exactly as described and by itself has plenty to enjoy. The only issue I experienced was checking into the gatehouse the guy there seemed like he had never worked with guests before and was kind of rude. He didn't care about the registration code the owners sent us and we had to explain multiple times in detail why we were there. Another minor thing I'll mention (and to be fair it was noted in the listing), but to not include sheets is a little frustrating. The rental service suggested is quite overpriced and buying sheets outright was cheaper.

Peace of paradise

Absolutely loved this place. The location, the house, the lake. I literally can not say enough good things about it. My husband and I took our 1 and 5 year old boys. Being able to walk right out the door and having the lake and boats and small man made beach area made for a great vacation. The neighbor is small and quiet. My son road bikes without concern of traffic. We saw wifelife every day in the yard. The use of boats to explore the lake and Lilly pads were great! We caught several small fish from the dock. My son literally cried when the week was over and we had to leave. This is truly a jem and I hope to take my family back soon

Canoe fun and a tree covered property

Our family of 4, 2 teens, had lots of fun! Plenty of boats, paddles, life jackets. Comfortable first floor master bedroom. Nice lake view and little beach and dock. No swimming from the house though… must go to the community lake beach or the community pool to swim.

Birthday and Thanksgiving retreat for me and my family.

It was cold and windy outside, but it was warm and welcoming inside. While it was a short drive to trails and waterfalls 20-30 mnutes), it was beautiful each morning as we watched the light over the lake. And though it was cold, there was a refreshing beauty just breathing the mountain air. We had a wonderful time.

Great place for families

My family really enjoyed staying here this past weekend. The lake was nice, having the canoe and John boat there was a great convenience. Wish us was warmer, we would have gone in the water. They literally had every single board game known man at our fingertips that was included in the house. The beds were clean and comfortable. Loved the decor. We felt right at home. The bathroom were up to date and water pressure was good for my curly thick hair. In the kitchen, they had every gadget, spatula and both keurig and regular coffee pot. We didn’t have to use any of our stuff that we brought because it was all there. Can’t wait to go back!

Great family trip - loved the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay at your home. The outdoor space was fantastic. We sat by the lake everyday, kayaking and fishing from the dock. The fire pit and wood supply was also a huge hit and we ate way too many smores during our stay. The layout of the house was perfect with the large dining/living room area, and the living room TV was fantastic. Your home also had a great supply of games and entertainment. We did a few puzzles, played foosball, ping pong and cards. The grocery store shopping is about 15 minutes away - not a bad drive. We also made a trip to Scranton one day for a minor league baseball game.

Pocono Pleasure

The house is just as pictured, clean, and surprisingly bug free! We thought for sure there would be skeeters and such, but joyfully, there were not. We brought fans, as it was very hot and the house doesn’t have AC, but the temp was 8 degrees cooler than home, and by day 3 we were wearing jackets. We did see lots of deer, a fox, and even a mama bear and cub, but they were not in the yard area. Our Littles loved the sand beach and we put up a rope so they knew how far they could go. Unfortunately, the lake has lots of seaweed and is not comfortable for swimming close to shore., but the boats helped. We love campfire breakfast cooking and even had s’mores for breakfast one day; Kiddos loved it! The hammock was a huge hit with Poppsie for naps and while my 7 1/2 granddaughter did not catch the elusive ‘salmon’ she so wished to catch, she did perfect her casting! Two afternoons were spent at the clubhouse pool and playground, where we also enjoyed lunch. Painting sticks and making mobiles, ‘catching’ nature’s loveliness on tape bracelets, and using twigs we found to make twig-owls all added to the fun. We got takeout from Menndicinos and it was very good and portions were large. Thanks for lots of terrific family memories and precious Pocono time!

Family times

My husband and I invited our three sons and family to vacation with us. We had a remarkable time! I definitely recommend this property to anyone who has a large family. It was perfect. Many memories made!

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful time during our vacation. The kids loved the fishing and the deer that came into the yard. Very nice accomodations. All around a great time.
