Outside is a private hot tub, barbecue area and courtyard.

Exploring the immediate area, Backbarrow is set in the South Lakes peninsula, a perfect base to visit many popular attractions in the Lake District. Just 2 miles down the road is the Haverthwaite Steam Railway, hop aboard and enjoy the stunning landscape as you head into Bowness-on-Windermere. A short drive away is Newby Bridge, home to the Lakes Aquarium and Windermere Lake cruises. A short drive away is the popular priory village of Cartmel, famous for its horse racing weekends, sticky toffee pudding and both a one and two star Michelin star restaurant, as well as many quaint country pubs, making this beautiful village well worth a visit! Beach 5 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1½ miles and restaurant 2 miles.
