Visit the Forest of Bowland an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or a day trip to York or nearby Harrogate. Alternatively catch the train from Skipton to Leeds, shop till you drop and lunch at a cafe. Quaint Yorkshire villages such as Kettlewell home to The Calendar Girls, Grassington where All creatures Great and Small is filmed or Malham are well worth a visit. Shop and pub ½ mile.
