About this property
Large family home with wonderful coast & country views
Northlight, nestled in the serene Cornish countryside just above Port Isaac, offers panoramic views of rolling green fields and breathtaking coastal scenery. This tranquil village is renowned as the home of the famous shanty singers, Fisherman's Friends, and the setting for ITV's Doc Martin series.
Upon entering the ground floor, you'll discover four spacious bedrooms: a king-size room with stunning sea and coastal views, a double room with an en-suite shower, and two twin bedrooms that share a family bathroom. Comfortably accommodating eight guests, Northlight is ideal for families or groups of friends.
Ascending the stairs, you'll find the open-plan living area, featuring large windows and patio doors that lead to a spacious balcony – the perfect spot for alfresco dining or relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun sets against the stunning backdrop. On cooler evenings, retreat indoors to the sitting area and enjoy the warmth of the woodburning stove.
The garden at Northlight boasts a large enclosed lawn, ideal for outdoor games, and the property offers ample parking.
Just a short drive away are the beaches of Rock, where you can enjoy various water sports or take the water ferry to Padstow. Nearby Polzeath is a haven for surfers, while Daymer Bay offers sailboarding, golden sands, and calm waters for leisurely days by the sea.
