Peace and Quiet
The star asset of this property is its location. Access is from a single track road and down a steep drive, leading to three remote cottages. This could be difficult in winter. You are treated to a wonderful view of Swaledale in all directions. West Cottage is spaceous and comfortable with large convector heaters in all rooms. The fridge is small but he kitchen is generally well equipped. Wi-fi worked well, as did the large screen TV. A little more attention might have been paid to cleanliness and maintenance (such as a very slow draining shower) but there was nothing that spoiled our enjoyable week at the cottage. We would stay there again.
