A fantastic location with stunning south facing views. Short drive from the market town of Chapel-en-le-Firth with its pubs and restaurants.. Ground Floor:

Daisy Bank Cottage is a wonderful place to stay as a base for exploring the Peak District National Park or just for enjoying the local rural tranquillity. Situated in the hamlet of Sparrow Pit in the heart of the Peak District, there are views to the front over rolling countryside. To the rear the, vista stretches to Mam Tor and the hills around Castleton, a village ever popular with visitors and walkers, and renowned for its Blue John caves and caverns. The village pub is close by and, as well as a number of walks from the door, the cottage is also ideally situated for a healthy stroll over to Castleton, lunch in one of its many pubs, then a walk back to snuggle up in front of the cottage’s cosy fireplace.
Nearby are Buxton, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Lyme Park. The nearest small town, Chapel-en-le Frith, where all shopping can be done, is a short drive away. The spa town of Buxton is a delight with its Opera House, Crescent and Pump Room, and the famous ’Buxton Water’, available straight from the well. When tasting the tap water in the cottage you will realise you are in an area rightly renowned for the quality of the water!
