Hambledon Cottage Holidays provides the perfect location to relax and explore the outdoors, they are ideally suited to couples or a small group of friends. These properties were renovated in 2021. The Iron Age hill fort of Hambledon Hill is well worth exploring, it is on the edge of Cranbourne Chase with far reaching views and an assortment of wild flowers. The Dorset Trailway is easily accessible and is suitable for walking and cycling and is part of the old Somerset and Dorset railway which used to link Bath and Bournemouth.
For days out in the nearby town of Blandford you can visit the Royal Signals Museum, The Blandford Fashion Museum or The Badger Brewery which offers tours, as well as a variety local shops, cafés and restaurants. There are several National Trust sites within easy reach, including Kingston Lacy House, Badbury Rings, Hod Hill, Hardy’s Cottage, Corfe Castle and the Cerne Abbas Giant.
