This cosy holiday cottage is located within the grounds of the castle walls of the medieval town of Conwy, and is within a short stroll of the town’s many amenities and harbour. A picturesque setting for your holiday and a perfect base for exploring north Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage is set within a cul-de-sac and sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms. It is a 19th-century, stone-built fisherman’s cottage of a traditional appearance. It is well equipped with a contemporary range of fixtures and fittings, and provides cosy and comfortable holiday accommodation and a welcoming place to return home to after an exciting day of exploring the area. The cottage is conveniently located, with plenty of things to see and do within walking distance and is just a 2-minute walk from Conwy train station and bus stops, giving the option to leave the car at home.
Conwy has World Heritage Site status and is a tourists dream, with its picturesque harbour overlooking the estuary, spectacular castle and great selection of interesting shops, tea rooms and eating establishments. It is surrounded by a beautiful and diverse landscape of mountains, fantastic beaches, rocky ridges and waterfalls. This medieval town is close to Snowdonia National Park and a great location for those who enjoy walking, climbing, horse riding, fishing, bird watching and playing golf, and offers many more recreational activities of a varying nature.
Within 4 miles is the beautiful and popular Victorian seaside town of Llandudno, offering a stunning shop-lined pier, a grand promenade, the Great Orme and tramway, cable cars, skiing slope and a range of shops and places to eat. Other easy to reach613017attractions include Conwy Butterfly Jungle, Bodnant Gardens and the RSPB Nature Reserve to name just a few, and of course the many magnificent castles in the area. A tourist information centre can be found nearby. Additional places of interest further afield, but still only 30 to 60 minutes’ drive away, include Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis, Capel Curig, the Italianate village of Portmerion and the castle towns of Caernarfon and Beaumaris in Anglesey. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
