Situated in Blackwaterfoot on the west coast of Arran, this coastal detached house is within walking distance of the beach and all village amenities. Blackwaterfoot is a family favourite with its sandy beach, golf club, hotel with leisure facilities, convenience store and local butcher, great for if you want to spend the evening cooking a hearty meal for everyone to enjoy. It is a base from which to explore the whole island, even manage a day trip to the Kintyre Peninsula, or stay put and enjoy magnificent sunsets and spectacular night skies. One of the most southerly of the Scottish Isles, Arran encapsulates the grandeur and majesty of Scotland but all packaged within an accessible area 19 miles long by 10 miles wide.
The island has a number of pretty villages on Arran’s stunning coastline which are contrasted by a rugged and mountainous interior in the north. For outdoor lovers, Arran offers mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning, sea kayaking, scrambling and more; you can even book an island safari!
