An excellent two bed property; one double bed, one single, that has been professionally renovated to a high standard. Both bedrooms have a generous amount of storage space. The apartment is decorated in an urbane and cultivated style giving a comfortable and calm feel to the rooms.

A compact kitchen provides all the equipment and utensils to cook and be self-catering with a table in the sitting room to dine at. The bathroom, finished in all-white, has a shower over the bath and a white pedestal basin, and a toilet.

The sitting room has a very generously sized sofa and a matching armchair. There is a large flat screen TV, with Freeview and pay-per-view movies on demand. In addition, there is FREE Wi-Fi throughout the apartment and off-site FREE parking.

Got the basics right, fell down elsewhere
Overall, it was a well-located, spacious base to stay and explore the Loch Lomond area during Christmas. The property was very clean, getting hold of the keys and accessing it was easy. However, there were some odd omissions which detracted from our stay. Upon arrival, the flat was freezing cold (in December), and there were no instructions as to how to get the heating on. We had to guess, thankfully the system was straightforward to use. The only mirror in the entire property was in the living room. There were none in the bedrooms and it seemed one had been removed from the bathroom given the odd gap behind the sink. Everyone ended up having to shave or put makeup on in the living room. Despite the property being advertised as sleeping four adults (it could sleep five, given that there was also a double-sized sofa bed), there simply wasn't enough furniture and cutlery even for three of us. There were just two dining chairs (again, no more chairs even in the bedrooms could be moved) so we couldn't all share a meal around the dinner table or play a board game at the same time. There was no washing-up liquid, no soap, no corkscrew in the kitchen drawers, and just one toilet roll for three people staying three days. Upon arriving we had to immediately head out to a supermarket to stock up. There was a good sized, high-quality television. However, it had no aeriel, so the only way to watch it was to input our own logins to the various streaming services. If you don't have your own accounts, you won't be able to watch the TV. A number of items of furniture were broken, but had been balanced together to disguise this. The toeboard at the end of the double bed was unattached and fell off easily, revealing exposed screw blades next to our feet. One of the coffee tables in the living room needed resting against a wall in order to stay up. Finally, there were no specific checkout instructions. As with the central heating, again, we had to guess, resorting to 'reverse the arrival instructions'. All things considered, it was a good place to stay, but could be improved massively with just a few changes and a bit more attention paid here and there.
