Cosy holiday home near village centre and beaches

Casa Colynda is a cosy and comfortably furnished terraced house situated on the Quinta do Paraíso holiday resort, at just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the idyllic fishing village of Carvoeiro and its beaches.

The house comprises 2 bedrooms and living-dining room all with air-conditioning, a bathroom and a kitchen. The beautiful outdoor area offers several seating areas including a rooftop terrace with views of the sea and surrounding countryside.

The resort offers communal pools which are accessible to the guests, as well as other activities which are available on request (at extra charge).

During the winter season (November till March), the energy costs will be charged in resort according to consumption.

just one thing
We had a wonderful stay. The property is well furnished and equipped (great garden furniture). The location is quiet and close to two restaurants. Only one gripe: The TV system. Which is fine for us because we didn't go there to watch TV. But even though we eventually figured out how to use it ( it is needlessly complex) a lot of the channels didn't work and those that did constantly buffered, which made viewing incredibly annoying, so we gave up. The guests should really be able to simply turn the TV on and flick through channels. Even if there is a limited choice, it is better to have a few that work than a thousand that don't. Another idea: Install Netflix / Amazon so people may be able to login with their own account details. Otherwise perfect. Would love to come back.

Tolles Appartment mit allem was man braucht! Sehr ruhig gelegen, super Service und fußläufig ist alles gut erreichbar. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder!

Bella vacanza all'insegna del relax
La villa è collocata all'interno di un resort (Quinta do Paraiso) molto ben curato, con varie piscine, campi da tennis, ristoranti, mini market e altro ancora. Il complesso è molto vasto, con tante stradine al suo interno dove sono collocate ville molto eleganti, in un'oasi di verde. La villa dove abbiamo alloggiato è ubicata alla fine di una di queste stradine e quindi consente molta privacy. E' stato veramente piacevole fare colazione e pranzare nella piccola terrazza, sotto il pergolato di bouganville ammirando il sorgere del sole. La casa è dotata di tutti gli utensili di cucina necessari e due volte la settimana viene una governante per la pulizia, cambio asciugamani, e quindi è molto ben tenuta. Noi vi abbiamo soggiornato in un periodo fuori stagione e quindi l'interno era piuttosto fresco ma la villa è dotata, in ogni ambiente, di condizionatori che consentono anche di riscaldarla. Unico punto negativo è che per accedere alla casa devi passare da un viottolo poco illuminato (anzi per lavori in corso era del tutto buio), ed entrare da un cancello che porta alla cucina , mentre sul lato est, dove parcheggi l'auto, ci sarebbe la possibilità di entrare direttamente nella sala se venisse messa una serratura adeguata.

Schöne Unterkunft
Wir sind eine kleine Familie (Mann Frau + Kind/4 Jahre). Gesucht haben wir nach einer Unterkunft die ruhig gelegen aber nicht zu weit von Strand, Restaurant...liegt und hier haben wir Sie gefunden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und entspricht den Beschreibungen im Profil. Buchung war einfach und zuverlässig - die Hausverwaltung nett. Bis zum Ortskern sind es zu Fuß etwa zwei Kilometer. In der Nähe gibt es aber ein kleines und nettes Restaurant und einen schönen Pool der auch für kleine Kinder gut geeignet und sauber ist. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

An ideal holiday location
A very well equipped property with all English TV channels and a very pleasant outside area where one can simply sit and admire the views overlooking the resort. Lots of greenery and even a distant sea view. A pleasant walk of about 1.5km takes you down into town where there are an abundance of bars and restaurants. Of course there is the "Ritz" as it is locally known, or (Escondidinho) which is less than 100 meters from the apartment and on level ground. It also serves up a three course meal with 1/2 Litre of wine each, or whatever drinks are preferred, followed with tea or coffee and a large brandy or port (or whatever you want) at 11 Euros each, so why bother cooking! Finally I would like to thank Rene and his team for all their help and prompt response to any queries we raised

Quiet and private villa ideal for families
The villa/apartment was as described with ample space for a family of four, with 2 double bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen and dining area. Our children aged 4 and 1 were catered for, there was a high chair and cot (included in the price) and they loved the toddler shallow pool. The complex has 3 pools in total, and an Italian restaurant which we visited. The food was good and the service excellent. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was that there were not enough sun loungers by the pool, although we did visit in high season. Another mild inconvenience is not being able to access the apartment through the patio doors to the front where there is space to park a car. Overall, we were impressed by the apartment and complex, the terrace is private and up high making it a nice place to sit and relax in the evenings. We would recommend it to friends and family.

Quiet and private villa ideal for families
The villa/apartment was just as described and catered well for a family of 4. We took out 2 children aged 4 and 1, and there is a cot and highchair, and living space with a DVD/TV and 2 large bedrooms. The villa has a lovely private terrace up high from the Quinta Paraiso resort. The resort itself has 3 pools including a children's shallow pool, and a bar/cafe and restaurant. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the lack of sunbeds by the pool (though it was high season) and the inconvenience of not being able to gain access to the property via the patio doors where you parked the car. We ate at the Italian restaurant in the resort and the food was reasonably good. We would definately recommend this as a place to stay to other families or 2 couples.
