'The Snug' is tucked away 50yds up a footpath from the historic Ilfracombe harbour, through private gardens. It is a perfect couple getaway bolthole for those wishing a peaceful retreat. 100yds further up the footpath brings you out onto Portland Street with a 2min walk to the High Street. The flat has it's own small garden at the front, with great views over the harbour, and a small courtyard off of the living room with pot plants and herbs growing for your culinary use when dining in.

Beautiful cosy property with beautiful views

We absolutely loved our stay here ❤️ The property was completely perfect for what we wanted, and had EVERYTHING we needed. It was in beautiful condition, and wonderfully decorated. We loved the location too. Out host was brilliant, and communication spot on. If we are in Ilfracombe again, we'll be staying here again no question. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay x

Lovely place!

We stayed at the "snug", as the name suggests it is small but very cosy. Everything we needed was there, the location was 5 minutes from the seaside once outside you had the most breathtaking views! The only downside, not for me but my husband found it difficult, was the access, it is very steep and my husband can suffer from vertigo and found the walk a bit hard. Overall I am giving this 5* as we had a lovely stay! Thank you Emma, you were a great host!

Great little flat to base in Ilfracombe close to the Harbour

Really enjoyed our stay. Very thoughtful provision of everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Easy communication with host. Definitely recommend for those wanting a base in Ilfracombe close to the harbour, shops, pubs, beach and restaurants. The flat is set on a steep hill with some steps, but this is made clear by the host. Parking suggestions are also made and paid parking is available in the cove carpark for easiest access. Thanks again for a great stay :)

Bohemian, quirky apartment

The owner left many thoughtful touches in the apartment. Very responsive to a small issue I had. Comfortable stay. Apartment set up a very steep walkway, so need to carry luggage, shopping up the hill. Parking at bottom of the walkway. Great central location.

Lovely comfortable accommodation

Unfortunately does not look great from the outside due to the neighbouring properties not caring for their gardens. Access is via a very steep uphill path or down hill steps and path, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. However the Snug itself is absolutely immaculate. The owners could not have thought of any more extras to provide to make a stay more comfortable or to keep us entertained. Also communication from the owner during our stay was very good. We would definitely recommend a stay here, and if we’re ever back in Ilfracombe this will be our first choice accommodation.
