Once you've had your picture taken next to the village nameplate at the train station, it's time to check out the famous visitors centre. Just a few minutes' stroll from the octagonal Toll House, in the direction of Menai Bridge, you'll find the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column, which, for a little price, you can ascend the 115 steps of to take in breathtaking vistas of the surrounding area. On the shores of the Menai Straits, not far from St. Mary's Church, stands Nelson's Monument.
