Hummingbird Resort Home on Mara Lake

Just steps away from the beach, our resort home is located in the pristine Hummingbird Resort. This includes your own boat slip in a private marina. Resort includes one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the lake with lush grounds, heated pool, and hot tub. Ideal for families who enjoy water sports but also want to relax together in a quiet, gated, family community. Our home is fully furnished and air conditioned with huge composite patio and barbecue for your enjoyment. Dishwasher, washer/dryer and Wifi included. Check in at 3pm and check out at 10am. July and Aug is Fri-Fri only.

Off season rates through Sept-June. Larch Hills Nordic Society is only 30 min away from our Hummingbird home. Excellent groomed trails for Cross Country and Skate Ski. We are also only a 1hr drive to Silverstar Ski Resort. Look forward to you booking with us.

horrible stay in a dirty house on the highway that won't let you sleep

The noise from the highway was excessive all night long making it impossible to get any sleep no matter which bedroom you were in (my one family member even tried to sleep on the couch but that did not help), TV did not work properly, house dirty (kitchen fridge and stove, utensils, floor), stink bugs crawling excessively all over the house including the patio and balcony so you could not enjoy the outside amenities at all, my bed smelled badly of body odor which apparently had not been changed so I had to do this at midnight before going to bed. Cleaning a home that I am paying a cleaning fee to stay in is ridiculous! And none of this is stated in the listing which would have resulted in me not renting this home especially at the price they charged, and you cannot enjoy your time away. I would not recommend this rental, we were all very disappointed.

Amazing house / complex

Ranea was great with communication and her place was fabulous and we’ll stocked . The complex is absolutely beautiful, very clean and had amazing views whether it was the water or the river.

Beautiful property for a great getaway. Don't think the pool and hot tub were operating as advertised, but that's minor. House had everything we needed.

Beautiful property in Sicamous

Our family had a wonderful stay at the resort. The beach was so much fun and the views were breathtaking. Our children had a blast playing in the water and digging in the sand. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Great Stay at Mara Lake

This property is located steps away from the beach. We loved taking advantage of the front patio area where we were able to enjoy our BBQ'd dinners. The property comes fully equipped with anything you could imagine needing from a blender to little shampoos. Ample parking space allowed us to park both our truck and car. Conveniently located 10 minutes to Sicamous for quick access to grocery stores. Friendly neighbours. Renae was a very gracious host and provided us with communication throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year.

Why they chose this property

We own here because we enjoy beautiful Mara lake surrounded by mountains. It is our favourite spot to enjoy all our water sports. Hummingbird resort is well maintained and landscaped. Friendly, family community and great location. Winter season also has to offer Silverstar Resort only one hour drive away. Larch Hills is also only 30 minutes away and has the best groomed trails for Cross-country Ski and Skate Ski trails.
