The Nook in Jack's Green, Gloucestershire sleeps four in two bedrooms.
The living areas in this property consist of a kitchen with AGA, microwave and fridge/freezer, a living/dining room with TV, dining seating for four and woodburning stove and a snug with TV and woodburning stove, there is also a cloakroom with basin, WC, washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite shower room and a twin serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, a gravelled, front garden with furniture and rear lawn with patio furniture. Within 1.4 miles there is a shop and 0.6 miles a pub. One dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Nook is an idyllic setting for a family getaway to Gloucestershire.

Cotswold Stone, found in the area, was used extensively in the construction of the village. It is located in the middle of the Cotswolds Way National Trail on a hill overlooking one of the Five Valleys in the Stroud area. It has a popular golf course on the outskirts of town and is home to a cricket and rugby team. The Royal Oak is a local watering hole known for its traditional fare, homely fireplaces, and outdoor courtyard. The village store is located directly across from the bar. The Painswick Beacon is only a twenty-minute stroll from the centre of the village, and it offers breath-taking panoramas of Gloucester, the River Severn, and the Malvern Hills. The Painswick Centre is home to the ACP Gallery, among other events and exhibitions. Laurie Lee, author of "Cider with Rosie," grew up in the town of Slad, located two miles to the northwest of Painswick.
