Rhodes Getaway
We had a fabulous stay at Loli's Home. Maria kindly greeted us at Rhodes bus station delivering us to the house saving trugging through town with heavy luggage (Maria kindly returned us to the bus station on departure day). Maria had left us a lovely welcome pack of wine and goodies to get us started but mini markets were close to hand for the rest of required provisions. My husband and I were there for a family wedding and had chosen the house primarily for its superb location. However the house far exceeded our expectations. It was ideally placed for the main town being just that little bit on the edge of the town near the walls which meant it was peaceful at all times. Rhodes is a lovely town and the people very friendly. The house was superbly equipped and cool with the addition of the air conditioning units. The outside terraces were a nice feature however proved a little too warm for us during the day but of a night were just perfect. One nice addition would be a hot tub which would be ideal for balmy nights however the logistics of getting this in position i am sure are what prevents this being possible. Overall we cannot recommend the house and its owner enough and wouldnt hesitate in recommending it to family and friends.
