The cuisine in the area includes crepes and galettes and of course the seafood! Mussels and oysters are available throughout the region, particularly in the summer months. Cider is produced here and local varieties are available in all supermarkets and restaurants.

Just the job for a week.

We had a very relaxing week here. Wonderful location with walking from the doorstep around town and along the canal sides. . A choice of eating places with easy reach from creperie to something a little more fancy . With , a bakery straight across the road it was easy to get fresh croissants for breakfast . (Shuts on Wednesday - others available)) Enjoyed sitting on the patio area watching the birds at the feeders and just taking in the ambiance. The daily step count was improved with all the stairs to negotiate from the driveway to the top of the house - but no issue if you capable . Bikes and helmets also provided.

Perfect location. Baker shop 1 min from front door. Canal path two mins walk. Steep internal stairs to bedrooms and from car parking; beware if you are of limited mobility. Great sun trap in garden and secure parking. Wonderful market. Lots of restaurants with meal at hotel across the canal (2 mins walk) is highly recommended.

Home from home in a greT French Town

This is my second review of this wonderful home from home. We love the area and love the property which has all you need for a comfortable stay. Owners changed the TV whilst we were there so it's now working perfectly with English channels so a five star review from us. We will come back again for another stay next year

Fantastic!

House is wonderful, so is location!!!! Beware… We arrived after dark and there is no lighting from driveway up the terraced landings/steps or bottom floor. Bring a flashlight. But, we had a FABULOUS vacation!

Fantastic, Well equipped, cosy, homely holiday home. Perfect location in the very pretty town of Josselin. We enjoyed the baguettes and cakes from the bakery opposite the property. Wonderful views over the canal - we spent most evenings sat in the pretty garden watching the wildlife & even star gazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

Holiday

Thank you for a lovely stay. The house was very comfortable and tastefully decorated and clean. We would certainly stay again. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. May I suggest a large bowl for the kitchen for salad or fruit?

Brilliant Holiday home in an idyllic French Village. I WILL RETURN!

My title probably sums up how I feel about the holiday i had there with my wife and sister. The house is substantial over 4 floors but we did not use the very basement area this time. The front goes into a hallway on the 1st floor to a very well stocked and equipped kitchen. All works well. Great lounge with fab views...All the bedrooms are large and could sleep 6 with ease. Secure parking from the bottom garden. We were met my Edward (Who is great!!!) very nice man who helped us with a minor issue but also provided great advice on where to go For us ( and yes I know if you look for faults i expect you might find a few) but we went to enjoy it and the house, position and area are "Perfect" I 100% recommend and will if able go again! One slight issue is that the TV is a little dated and I think is on the way out and is pixilated but again a minor and easy fix with a new one in the future

Perfect Holiday

Thank you for the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in! The location was stunning and the house was beautiful inside with the best quality furnishings, bedding and towels. So comfortable. Sadly the patisserie opposite had closed down but we found the other one about a 10 minute walk away, delicious. We had an issue with getting the TV working but the very helpful Edward came to our rescue! There was no microwave in the kitchen although in the description it states there was one. Also it would be handy if there was a colander/ sieve among the equipment. A day trip to Vannes was so interesting and Edward recommended the market at Malestroit which was in a fabulous location. We had taken our electric bikes to the property and spent many happy hours cycling along the canal. Evenings spent on the patio looking at the swallows, swifts and house martins trying the local wine and cider. Perfection!! Thank you!
