Welcome to April Cottage, a charming retreat steeped in history and warmth with private seasonal heated swimming pool and fabulous all season hot tub. This Grade II listed cob-built thatched cottage, dating back to 1721, offers a cosy escape in Hordle in between Lymington and Milford on Sea surrounded by the New Forest National Park.
Step inside to find a sunny entrance hall with a timber door, leading to a delightful sitting room boasting exposed timber beams and a lovely south-facing view of the gardens and pool.
The farmhouse-style kitchen/dining area is fully equipped for cooking, handmade oak units, a spacious table for eight, and a Rayburn range. A stable door opens to the front garden with a heated pool (available from May to September)
On the ground floor, you'll find a comfortable bedroom with built-in storage and access to the garden courtyard and our fabulous all-season hot tub. An adjacent fully tiled wet room ensures accessibility for all guests.
A separate utility room offers space for pet beds and laundry and drying facilities with seperate freezer.
Upstairs, three cosy bedrooms await, each with a private en-suite bathroom and plenty of storage space.
Outside, enjoy the garden courtyard with a hot tub, a Poolside deck with a dining table and chairs for 8 and a built-in charcoal BBQ. Take a dip in the swimming pool (open from May to September) and soak up the sun on the provided loungers.
Conveniently located with the Budgens store, filling station adjacent to the property, April Cottage invites you to unwind and create lasting memories in a welcoming and relaxed setting.

James and Julia Harrison are local to the Hordle area and are always available to answer any questions our guests may have. We are also on hand should we need to pop into the cottage if there are issues. We are very familiar with our surrounding areas and have a wealth of knowledge of the local attractions and places to eat and visit.
