This lovely little ground floor bungalow with its spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining area is beautifully decorated with a relaxing air and all rooms make the most of the stunning view. In all weathers you can just sit and take in the views be it from the living area, while eating breakfast, lunch or dinner or on fine days from the veranda.
The perfect place to enjoy this wonderful area. Port William, known as the ‘Machars of Galloway’ has a village shop, restaurant, and café. Whilst exploring the village, see if you can spot ‘The Man’ for a great photo opportunity! Situated in the heart of Galloway, amidst some of the finest scenery in southern Scotland, Port William is ideally located to explore the breathtaking scenery and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With its rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches, which benefit from the warmth of the passing Gulf Stream, there is something new to wonder at round every corner. Taking a trip along the coast, there are many other quaint little villages such as Sandhead, Portpatrick and the Isle of Whithorn.
A visit to the Mull of Galloway, Scotland’s most southerly point, is recommended and is home to the RSPB nature reserve, where thousands of seabirds nests on the cliff face during spring and summer. With quiet country lanes and challenging mountain bike trails, this is also a superb destination for cycling, and you will also have fishing and golf on your doorstep. Beach 3 miles.
