Private, Comfortable and Cozy with Distant Ocean and Mountain Views

Boulay Inn is nestled on Kauai’s south side in rural Omao. It is your own secluded home away from home with all the amenities to ensure your comfort. There is a spacious airy living area, a queen sized bed, tiled shower and a verdant yard outside your windows. Your accommodations are airy and comfortable with a combination of ceiling fans and sliding glass doors. We have tried to think of everything you might possibly need for your island home. Cooking facilities, entertainment center, including cable TV and Wifi are all available. No need to lug your hair dryer, there is one in your bath. A washer and dryer are provided because we don’t want you to spend any of your Hawaiian vacation in a laundromat.

Omao (meaning green in Hawaiian) is a convenient hub for all east, west, and south shore activities. Sunny Poipu Beach is just minutes away with swimming beaches and all sorts of water sports such as snorkeling, diving, surfing, boogie or stand up boarding. We have most beach accessories for your convenience, including beach towels, chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and snorkel gear. Remember to bring your sunscreen.

If golf is your game, choose from three beautiful courses within a fifteen minute drive.

Old Koloa Town, Poipu and the surrounding area abound with dining and shopping choices. There are over thirty restaurants within a ten minute drive and several areas with "lots of different kinds of shops". Koloa town has two grocery stores, a pharmacy and a bank. You won’t have to go far to find what you need.

We loved it!
What a gem to find on Kaua'i. The apartment was the perfect size for two of us, very clean and had everything we needed, including a space to park our car on the property and the use of a washing machine. The location was great and Sheri was the perfect hostess. She always met us with a smile and her suggestions of places to visit were ideal. 100% recommended.

A lovely homely stay
A lovely place to stay in Kauai. Close to Poipu beach which we loved. Sheri provided everything we needed for a great 3 night stay. Would recommend.

Amazing guest house
This guest house has everything you could need. Comfy bed, TV, kitchen, shower/bath… everything. Great hosts, they were so friendly but still give you privacy. They really made us feel at home here. If you want a non tourist location, stay here!!! We spent so much time in koloa, which we may have not even realized all it had to offer if we didn’t stay here. If you’re on the fence - just book it! You won’t regret it

Top-Notch Apartment with Friendly Hosts in a Great Location
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful, which made our stay very pleasant. The apartment is very well-equipped, and we lacked nothing. The excellent location allowed us to easily explore the surrounding area. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend this apartment!

We had a fantastic time in Kauai. Sheri and Jim were wonderful hosts, the apartment was well stocked with everything you would need for your stay on the island. Sheri even supplied milk, coffee, juice and cereal for your first couple of days. And of course a fresh pineapple and bananas, which were delicious. I can’t say enough great things about the Boulay Inn and Sheri and Jim. Would love to go back again for a longer stay, stayed 13 nights. Was hard to leave. Thank you!

Beautiful Hawaiian Apartment
Had the best time in Kauai thanks to this delightful home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and enjoyed getting to know them. The apartment is wonderfully decorated & clean, I enjoyed this immensely.

Charming Kauai stay and great hosts
Our upstairs apartment was clean and well stocked. Our hosts were very friendly. The kitchen was well stocked. Towels and chairs were available for beach time. No a/c but the breeze and the fans kept things very comfortable and we actually had to close windows at night. The roosters spouting off at 5am was our only concern but this is Kauai so you should know what you are getting. We would definitely stay again.

Marvelous Stay!!
It is hard to find a listing that reminds you of home yet gives you the experience of beautiful Kauai. The Boulay Inn did just that!! From the moment we arrived to the minutes before we left, Sheri and Jim could not be more welcoming, kind, and supportive! Their location was incredibly close to the southern beaches yet allowed access to the main highways to get West or North with ease! The listing came supplied with all the items we needed to make our trip more affordable by cooking meals at home and unwinding after a long day of adventuring. Christmas in Hawaii is a beautiful thing, but Christmas at the Boulay Inn was a magical experience!! Could not recommend this listing more highly and we will definitely be back, given the opportunity! Thank you Sheri and Jim!!

Our Stay
We felt very comfortable at Sherry's place. It was spacious, charming and had everything we could possibly need. Flying in late, we so much appreciated the goodies she had left for us… milk in the refrigerator, pancake mix etc We enjoyed watching sunrises from the apartment. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, charming and met our needs. Very convenient location. Thank you Sherry for having us.

Paradise Retreat
Perfect location for a romantic vacation in beautiful Kauai. Great apartment location on grounds of beautiful home with many places of interest nearby. Hostess is gracious and welcoming. Perfect stay for South shore and West Side
Would stay here again. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood away from the resorts. Close and central to everything on the South shore and also good home base for West side activities. Sheri and Jim are super friendly and helpful people, around for anything you need but also give you your space. They even left us some nice welcome gifts and Let us use beach equipment. wifi worked well and place was clean. Would (and plan on) staying here again. Fair price - grab it while you can!

Appartamento dotato di tutto ciò che può servire, grande, spazioso e pulito. Possibilità di utilizzare gratuitamente la lavatrice e l’asciugatrice in garage. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, all’arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare della frutta e l’ultima sera hanno condiviso con noi una fetta di torta fatta in casa. In cucina troverete tutto l’occorrente per cucinare, pentole, lavastoviglie, microonde e utensili. Grazie ancora per l’ospitalità!

Great little place to explore Kauai.
It was perfect for my wife and I. We explored the whole island from here and when ‘home’ it had all we needed. The hosts are great, helpful and very friendly. Great beach amenities and use of laundry facilities. If cooking and staying in, all you need is here!

Location is very nice and convenient for visiting the island. Koloa is a pretty little village. The apartment is very nice, with all you need for a pleasant stay. Our hosts have been very friendly and helpful. It is nice to live in a real Hawaiian house and not in a tourist resort. We can recommend this place.

Home away from home!
Boulay Inn lies in a quiet Koloa neighborhood, giving a realistic feel of what it would feel like to live here. The apartment is complete with one bedroom/bath, living room and full kitchen with refrigerator and stove. The owners thought of every amenity and provided it all. They even welcomed us with a beautiful pineapple, bag of Hawaiian coffee and cereal. Milk and sodas were in the fridge! Sheri and Jim were very friendly and welcoming; we felt like we were just friends visiting them. They even kept their garage door open so we could do a load of laundry! It was a lovely stay for us, most of the day we were out with all our activities, but it was a nice place to come “home” to!!

Kauai Kountry’s Finest
Spacious and clean with all the accommodations! Used snorkel and beach equipment at nearby Poipu Beach. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Felt truly relaxed being away from any cities or resorts. Lots of activities and restaurants within a reasonable distance. Comfortable bed! Awesome wrap around porch with views of the garden island. Hope to be back here very soon for another stay.
