About this property
Sleeps 4 ideal for 2 couples own pool, hot tub 2 gites side by side
We have 2 self contained character gites, one a beautiful stone converted barn and the other a lovely wooden clad gite. They both sleep 2 people. If you wanted to rent just one of the gites and require the total privacy of the facilities please message me directly as the price guide on the calender is for rental of both gites. They are set in two acres of garden with an outdoor private pool and hot tub, numerous areas to eat inside and outside, we have two beautiful ponds which are visited by lots of wild life. You will have total privacy on your stay and use of and outside kitchen with a large plancha plate and gas bbq. We have rescue dogs who have their own run of the garden which does not cross into the gite side of the garden. The stone gite has a large kitchen area with breakfast bar and dining table and a very large living space with choices of seating areas, large tv with freesat box and dvd box, stairs leading to a large en-suite bedroom. Indoor and outdoor towels are provided, clean bedding provided after 1 weeks stay and again clean towels.
There is a welcome hamper on arrival just let us know your preference to wine, red, white or rose or indeed beer.
The wooden clad gite has its own entrance with open plan living kitchen and living room and downstairs shower and toilet, up the spiral staircase is the large double bedroom with a toilet and sink.
The two gites are joined by one of the many external seating/lounging areas we offer.
We are a ten minutes walk to the little town of Porte saint Marie which has Boulanger, butchers, chemist, tabac, good sized supermarket with great range of fresh foods as well as general goods.
Porte st Marie has a train station and with the link to Agen being a 15 minute train ride away you can go anywhere you like in France and beyond.
We are 15 minute drive from the A62 peage , junction 6 for
Damazon coming from the north Bordeaux airport and junction 7 from the south from Toulouse airport. We are an hours drive from Bordeaux an hour and half from Toulouse and hour and half from Bergerac.
There is plenty of secure parking at the gite and you will have your own ‘dibber’ for the electric gates entrance.
We can arrange activities if prebooked, guided cycling for the experienced or beginners around the beautiful lot et Garonne department, rowing on the river Lot, tennis, archery, massage, or yoga
or just relax around the pool on the decked area and soak up the sunshine.
In July and August there are the wonderful night markets where local producers cook their produce for you and along with live music these evenings are always something special. All the French support these evenings unique to the department of 47.
We have great restaurants serving beautiful food for lunches and evening meals in Lot et Garonne.
Lots of lovely old towns to visit steeped in history.
Myself and Rob along with our gorgeous fur balls Misty, Grace, Bertie, Albie and Millie look forward to welcoming you 🥰our dogs have their own garden and will not cross over into the gite areas.
