3 BR, 3.5 bath home in Sinks Canyon 2 miles from Lander, Wyoming

We are located at the mouth of Sinks Canyon, and just 2 miles outside of Lander. it is the perfect place to relax on our beautiful grounds, which include a pond in front, a Teepee, hammocks, and a nice seating and BBQ area, with the Popo Agie River running along one side and through the back yard. This is a great jumping off point to many hiking and biking or skiing trails--in ten minutes you will be hiking in the Wind River Mountains. We have 3 Bedrooms, each with a queen bed, en suite bathrooms, and balconies. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The house has WIFI and Dish TV.
Hosts are sometimes in an apartment on site to help with any questions or a phone call away.

A very comfortable and Tuscany-like home

Spacious, great setting and landscaping, very comfortable and easy to relax in. WiFi was strong and reliable which was nice. There were a lot of details in the home that were unique and well thought through. Great kitchen, nice area upstairs to recreate, and lots of places to spend time reading or napping, or take a walk outside. Short drive to stores, restaurants The only thing that would improve the home is a king bed in at least the master bedroom ... the queen bed seemed small for a queen.

Had a great stay in Lander last week at this beautiful property. Plenty of room for our group of 6. Great communication with our owners and they stay on the property in a separate apartment above the garage so if you need anything they can help immediately. Had a great time!

Wonderful spot in Lander

We had a great time staying here! It was so fun for the kids (pond, stream, horses in the neighborhood and ping pong table) and a peaceful retreat for the adults. Highly recommend!

Great Time, Beautiful Property, Privacy Concerns

This property is gorgeous and in a gorgeous location. Not enough can be said about the beauty of our surroundings. The owners were extremely flexible, communicated openly, and even allowed us to bring our house-trained, hypo-allergenic dog. In the past, my family and I have always rented vacation homes. This was our first experience with someone's personal home. I would have given a 5-star review but for a couple of things. The owners live on the property and were waiting for us to arrive and even texting us when we weren't there at the time we thought we would be. They had said that they were leaving for the weekend, but it felt like they were waiting to leave until we arrived, and that we were holding them up. I appreciated their concern for our well-being, but found it off-putting as I hadn't had that experience with previous rentals. I had assumed the owners would be gone for the entirety of our stay. They indicated through text that they would likely be back the evening before we left. In the note/instructions they left on the kitchen counter, they also indicated that they sometimes show up to tend to the yard, and may be in their apartment or camper on the property. When my family and I rent a house, we do so to get away and to have our privacy. We felt that with the potential of the owners to be around at any moment or occupying the property while we were there was an invasion of our privacy. Respectfully, I would suggest the owners plan to be away while their home is occupied. I can certainly understand their concern for the well-being of their property, but it makes the vacation less than ideal to be under the potential scrutiny of the owners.

Beautiful, Spacious, and Comfortable!

The pictures do not do this property justice. We met our family, 3 adult children, for Thanksgiving during COVID19 and stayed at this beautiful home. It was a perfect setting for all of us to get together. Nice open spaces to lounge and visit in, big well equipped kitchen to make family meals, and a quiet wooded neighborhood to take a walk and enjoy the views. We love to come back in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor areas around the property. In addition, the location was perfect for us as it is just a short distance from downtown and grocery stores and Sinks Canyon State Park was just down the road. Jenn was very accommodating and communication was instant. Thank you for sharing your home!

Lander and the Wind River area are beautiful, and we love to see people experience the region. Although we are retired, we have a big family that visits often, and our home is large, welcoming, and set up for relaxing and feeling comfortable.
