This four-bedroom barn conversion has a ground-floor super-king-size (zip/link) with a TV and en-suite shower room, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom, an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, a utility and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher, and for entertainment there are TVs, WiFi, and a selection of books and access to the on-site pool. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available and outside there is ample off-road parking and a garden with a lawn, patio, fire pit, and furniture. Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, no smoking. You can find a shop in 1.5 miles and a pub in 0.7 miles. Batts Barn is a fabulous escape for a trip to Kent.

Exclusive use of swimming pool can be arranged directly with the owner, this being a maximum of 3 hours per property, per day consisting of periods of no more than 90 minutes at a time. Town: Markbeech is a lovely village on the northern fringe of Kent's High Weald AONB. The community has a country pub and a farm shop, perfect for enjoying a countryside getaway. Royal Tunbridge Wells is nearby and noted for its gorgeous architecture, majestic manor homes, and lush rolling countryside. Tunbridge Wells also offers shopping, restaurants, and supermarkets for the basics. Hever Castle & Gardens, a 13th-century castle with picturesque gardens, is also nearby, as well as Chiddingstone Village, noted for its Tudor architecture and half-timbered buildings. Markbeech is a great Kent base.
