Glass doors opening onto the garden bathe this room in light, making it an inviting social space. The enclosed garden is lawned with a patio, ideal for soaking up the sun with a glass or two of something special.
Upstairs on the first floor you have two beautifully presented bedrooms, a master double with wall-to-wall wardrobes for all your belongings, as well as a twin bedroom with zip and link beds that can be made up as a super king on request, making this property flexible for two couples staying together as well as families. The bathroom is modern and has a shower over the bath.
Guisborough is a beautiful market town, the perfect blend of both the past and present, with the ancient priory ruins an iconic feature of the town, whilst having trendy bars as well as a great choice of eateries to dip into at your own pleasure. You have the National Park on your doorstep, with glorious scenery accessed by a network of walking and cycling trails, plus the heritage coastline is only 6 miles away. You are in the perfect position to discover the finest natural beauty spots in North Yorkshire.
The house itself is in a peaceful residential area, with a nearby play park for young children. You are just on the edge of Guisborough Forest which has walking and cycle trails, as well as children’s play areas and a visitor centre with a café.
This is an ideal destination for lovers of the great outdoors. For a scenic walk, Roseberry Topping is the highest viewpoint on the moors and it is near to Captain Cook’s Monument so you can extend the hike if you wish. Or why not take time to visit the many beautiful towns, villages and bays along the nearby coastline? Starting at Saltburn, then Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and beyond, the Cleveland Way walking trail along the cliff tops connects them all.
