Town: Winster is a picturesque conservation community in the White Peak region of the Peak District National Park, anchored by a lovely market house from the 17th century and surrounded by other imposing 17th and 18th century homes, several of which are three stories tall. Well worth your time are the ginnels that connect Main Street, the East Bank, and the West Bank. Winster, England, is well-known for its Morris dancers, pancake race on Shrove Tuesday, June Wakes celebrations, and July Secret Gardens of Winster. A well-stocked, community-owned general shop that doubles as a Post Office may be found in the heart of the hamlet. Both bars serve traditional fare in addition to beer. The Limestone Way passes through the village and connects locals and visitors to neighbouring attractions like Bakewell, Matlock, Chatsworth House, and the Peak Rail Steam Railway. Less than 5 miles away, you'll find the Tissington and High Peaks walking and cycling paths, as well as bike rental shops, making the village a great starting point for exploring the Peak District.
