We stayed 11 nights in the apartment and it met our needs well. On the day we arrived, Raffaele came to greet us and let us into the apartment. We should have asked for at least two sets of keys, as we had different schedules and needed to be out at various times. The front door requires a key, so someone had to make a trip down from the 4th floor on several occasions to let the other in. We made a request after a few days and a second set of keys was promptly delivered. The elevator is up a flight of stairs, so luggage has to be carried up to it. Two of us took the stairs easily throughout our stay. One used the elevator to ascend. Hopefully the construction going on in the apartment across the hall will be completed soon. (It was not the apartment owners fault!) Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, as the walls are thin and the courtyard conveys party noise upwards in the wee morning hours. Overall the location was perfect for our needs. A grocery is just 2 blocks away, so we were there a lot. You may need to buy toilet paper, paper towels, a wash cloth, trash bags, and some other fungibles if you are there for more than a few days. There is an oven, no microwave, with adequate refrigerator space. We would stay here again if the opportunity arose.
