Updated Townhome - Just Steps From The Beach! ~ Family Friendly Destin Vacation!

Unit 73 at Southbay by the Gulf backs up to the Beachside Pool and is just steps from the beach. This 2 Bedroom home has a King in the Master Bedroom and 2 Twin Beds in the Guest Bedroom. All Bedrooms are on the 2nd floor along with a Full Bath. The 1st Floor includes the Living Room (with sofa bed), Dining Area, Kitchen, and a 1/2 Bathroom off the Laundry Room.

Southbay by the Gulf, is a quaint little townhome community located on the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This secluded property offers such a variety of vacation homes; you will be drawn back, time after memorable time.

Our units feature private patios bursting with Florida wildlife, or you can fish from your private lake front balcony. Southbay has 2 swimming pools and 2 kiddy pools; we heat the south pool seasonally. If it's tennis that you love, we have that too. Our grounds are made for walking so park at your front door and enjoy a stroll through the property while feeding the birds, fish and turtles.

Nice townhouse-Great location
The townhouse was perfect for the 4 of us. It was in a great location. Not far to the ocean at all. There were a lot of pros with this rental. I have 2 cons. 1- the home needs a good deep cleaning 2- the mattresses seem worn down and need replaced with new.

Everything is great the location, proximity to ocean, restaurants, stores, etc. was a relief to have emergency care a block away due to child injury... our suggestion to replace mattresses as we all had trouble sleeping. But otherwise it was nice to stay. Thank you!

Moderately priced, private beach, in destin
Good property. A map of the property in relationship to the beachfront would be helpful. Not as close to beach as would have liked. Suggest updating mattresses in both bedrooms since it was stated that the unit had been recently updated. Please provide more than 1 black washcloth for your suggestion of makeup removal. Overall a nice unit for the amount paid.

Worse vacation EVER
The place smelled of dust like it had been locked up for years. There was insect larvae hanging from the kitchen cabinets. Everything in the place made of fabric smelled dusty ( sofa, love seat, all bedding). The mattress in the master bedroom was not fit for an animal to lay on much less 50 year olds. There were springs poking out of the mattress sticking me in the back. I ended up sleeping in one of the twin beds in the other room. I will never again book from your site. Worse vacation ever.
