The Casa Amarela is located in the heart of Tavira, a short walk from one of the busiest streets in town, where you can find the most famous typical restaurants. It is an old house, located on the ground floor, which was completely renovated and furnished in 2013. It is very spacious and cozy, ideal for two or four people, can accommodate two people in the room and two more people in the room. With an old building is a house quite cool in summer and warm in winter so both the heat and the cold do not make themselves felt inside, making it quite pleasant. There is plenty of natural light coming in through a small backyard located at the rear of the house, about 20m2, ideal for barbecuing or simply relaxing in the shade on hot summer days or sunbathing on the cold winter days. Ideal for families of two or four people or groups of friends who want to get to know Tavira in an economical and comfortable way, being in the center of the city does not need a car to move around and all the tourist attractions and services you might need are a small step.

Appartement très bien situé et tres propre

Bel appartement tres bien aménagé et situé dans un chouette quartier. Petit panier en arrivant très apprécié : orange café et bouteille d'eau. Seul bémol un peu sombre et donne sur une rue assez passante, proche de restaurants donc un peu de bruit si on dort dans le salon.

Schöne saubere Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Der Besitzer hat uns sehr gut empfangen, die Wohnung ist gut angerichtet, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine, etc... Schöne möblierte Terrasse, und alles sauber. Optimale zentrale Lage, nah vom Supermarkt und Restaurant und doch ruhig. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, Tavira ist ein wunderschönes Städtchen, empfehlenswert. Danke an Mário und Dalila

Appartement propre et très bien situé mais sombre et mal ventilé.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits fin mai dans cet appartement situé à quelques pas du pont romain. Très bien accueillis par notre hôte qui nous a indiqué où nous garer gratuitement tout près, et qui nous a offert une bouteille de vin. L'appart a une déco sympa. Il est tout en longueur, entre rue et cuisine qui ouvre sur un petit patio. Le salon et la chambre n'ont pas de jour direct. Il faut savoir donc que c'est un peu sombre, sauf la cuisine. En résumé appartement très bien pour très court séjour car au delà nous trouvons que le défaut de ventilation est gênant. Attention la sdb est petite, les personnes grandes où corpulentes pourront s'y sentir à l'étroit. Elle a une aération mais pas d'extracteur d'air ce qui limite sa capacité à absorber l'humidité. il y a plusieurs restos très bien juste à côté et une petite épicerie très pratique. Nous avons beaucoup aimé Tavira.

Super cute and convenient location

Dalila and Mário's place in Tavira was super cute and very convenient to touring the city on foot. We appreciated the convenience of free street parking just up the hill. The private outdoor space offered a place to relax when we were ready to be alone, but still wanted to experience the beautiful weather. There were many little restaurants in close proximity. We recommend O Tonel, which was literally less than a block away from the apartment. Obrigada Dalila and Mário!

Great Place!

The place was very cozy and spacious. Also very close to the center and walking distance to just about everything, The only thing I would complain about is that the bed was old and uncomfortable. If the bed was chanegd the place would be perfect. Other than that, great location and good hosts!

Beautiful town centre apartment

We had a wonderful two weeks in October 2013 at Casa Amarela, and we're sure you'd love it too. Immaculately presented, spotlessly clean and comfortable, Casa Amarela is perfectly situated in the historic town centre, close to lovely restaurants and local shops, yet quiet at night. The kitchen is big, bright and airy, with all the facilities you'd expect if you want to cook for yourselves. The town market is a short walk away, with loads of beautifully fresh and cheap fruit, veg and seafood. The local beaches are fantastic, and you can get to them on a quick, cheap and pretty boat ride just five minutes walk from the apartment. Tavira really is the prettiest town in the Algarve, and Casa Amarela is the perfect base from which to explore it.

férias na casa amarela

A Casa Amarela foi tudo o que esperava e mais! Toda a informação online corresponde ao que encontrei, a localização é fantástica, zona antiga e tranquila, perto do rio Gilão, com tudo à mão, bom acesso ao barco para a ilha! A casa é muito acolhedora com uma decoração simples e muito bonita, com pormenores que nos fazem sentir que estamos "em casa"! Grata Dalila e Mário por tudo, e conto voltar!!!

estadia cinco estrelas!

A casa é tal e qual como está descrita. Situada numa zona muito central, perto da ponte romana sobre o Rio Gilão, está bem recuperada, bem equipada e é bem acolhedora. Sentimo-nos como se estivéssemos na nossa própria casa. O quintal para churrascos e um bom serão noite dentro, é o recanto ideal, e a rua onde se situa a casa é bem central, perto de supermercado, barcos, cafés e bares, e estacionamento é o que não falta. Os proprietários são pessoas muito acessíveis e simpáticos que deixam qualquer um à vontade para o caso de ser necessário alguma coisa. Recomendo vivamente esta casa amarela que é um mimo para quem tem o bom gosto e sorte de a escolher para as suas férias ou fim de semana prolongado. Vale a pena!!
