Found on a quiet residential street, just yards from the village green and offering superb accommodation throughout, this holiday home is ideal for two couples or a small family looking to explore this stunning part of Yorkshire.
Inside you will find a bright and modern kitchen/diner with sleek units and a host of appliances. There is plenty of worktop space for preparing a delicious picnic to enjoy at the beach, and storage for all your holiday essentials. A dining table sits to one side and offers plenty of seating for four. Across the hall is the beautifully presented living room. The two deep filled sofas offer a level of luxury; somewhere to relax and enjoy an evening in catching up on your favourite soap whilst the electric fire will take the chill off during the cooler winter months. Heritage Cottage has two very pretty bedrooms, a twin room, and a kingsize room. Both offer luxury soft furnishings and Smart TVs. Across the hall can be found the family bathroom with a large walk-in shower. A door leads out from the kitchen to an enclosed garden with neatly trimmed lawn and patio area with seating. Here you can enjoy an early morning coffee before heading out for the day or perhaps enjoy an alfresco evening meal during the warmer summer months. A large drive provides off street parking for two cars.
A short walk will bring you to the village centre where you will find a selection of tea rooms, shops, fish and chips shops and a couple of great pubs! Enjoy a round of golf at the local course or take a hike along the magnificent coastal path. Spend an afternoon at RSPB Bempton Cliff or travel a little further along the coastline to the Spurn Point Nature Reserve. The stately homes of Burton Agnes, Sewerby Hall and Sledmere House are waiting to be explored. This area is a paradise for walker and cyclists alike with miles of footpaths, cliff top paths and cycle routes. The unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds; inspiration to the artist Hockley are a short drive away. The seaside towns of Filey and Bridlington are close by and the North York Moors National Park, historic city of York are under an hour’s drive away.
