Home away from Home
Just the perfect home for our 3 week stay in Florence. Amazing hosts, super clean apartment, gorgeous garden and prefect location. Everything we needed was available and whilst we didn't need to, our hosts were always available to help with any questions we might have had. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Florence.

Tranquil Oasis in the heart of Firenze
What a delightful surprise. Located not far from the train station and Piazza San Marco, yet quiet as a whisper. Patrizia and Sergio are the stars of this little paradise, so warm, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Extremely warm hospitality and available at the drop of a hat for any assistance you may need or want. Classic Florentine ambience. You feel as though you are staying with a family friend, because once you have you will become one! Garden access, nice kitchen, dreamy comfortable bed and linens, and the Mercato Centrale a 5 minute stroll down the way. Fellow travelers I met have been staying there for years and it's easy to see why. So easy to feel as though you have a home away from home whenever you visit this timeless, enchanting city. I look forward to many happy returns to this lovely retreat and its delightful custodians. Thank you so much!

Charming Apartment w/ Garden
We absolutely loved this apartment which helped make for a wonderful visit to Florence. The apartment itself is lovely and well-appointed with high ceilings, nice kitchen and appliances, comfortable bed, and a walk-out to a peaceful garden with fountain that was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The hosts Sergio and Patrizia were attentive and a joy to talk with during our stay. The check-in process was easy as Sergio provided advanced instructions and met us at the apartment and walked us through. The building and apartment is very safe with multiple doors and locks. There are two other apartments that share the garden but we had complete privacy and never saw the other tenants. We loved the apartment and highly recommend it to others visiting Florence.

The best kept secret in Florence
I have just stayed nearly a month in Florence studying. I wanted something that celebrated the beauty of this Tuscan city, quiet, homely with all the conveniences of making the stay enjoyable. The truth is - it was simply amazing. I was welcomed by Sergio & Patricia - shown the delights of the garden & the features of the apartment. Convenient to the centre of Florence - yet quiet & cool in the heat of summer. I will be back. Grazie

Exceeds Expectations
My husband and stayed at the Leonardo for 4 weeks in April and couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation. Excellent location, walking distance to everything including the train station. Beautiful home and garden to return to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The apartment was clean and contained everything you could possibly need for your stay.The host and hostess, Sergio and Patrizia, were lovely to deal with, always available to anything you may need. Amazing
We were created by Sergio and Patricia, the owners of the property who are absolutely delightful and accommodating. Do you know it was more than I expected it was lovely, pleasant bright, air-conditioned I can’t say more the pictures don’t do it justice. The outdoor space was very pleasant to sit and have your morning coffee with two coffee shops on either end of the block. Centrally located to everything it’s a must stay. I have already recommended it to many of my friends.

Hidden Garden
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for two weeks! Sergio and Patrizia are great hosts, prompt in communication prior to arrival and very attentive upon arrival. The apartment is charming, clean and well-kept. It is on the ground floor. The garden is beautiful and so quiet and peaceful in a very busy city -- includes fruit trees and even an olive tree. Even during the summer, when temperatures can be very high in Florence, it is still enjoyable during the morning and evening hours. Great shower and comfortable bed. Everything in the kitchen that you need and several grocery stores nearby. Spacious refrigerator -- and ice trays in the freezer! Great seating area in the living room. Piazza San Marco, just a few minutes away (3 blocks) has some of the best quick eateries in town (Pugi and All' Antico Vinaio). Any of these 3 blocks are great to wonder down toward the Duomo. The Accademia (David Statue) is nearby, as well as the central market (shopping market outside, and inside, a food market downstairs and food court upstairs). Florence is a completely walkable city, and no matter where you stay, you will be close to some sites and further from others. There doesn't seem to be a central location. An additional bonus for the location of this apartment, though, is that it is close to the train station, making day trips and overall arrival to and departure from Florence simpler. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Apartment with a Fantastic Location in Central Florence
The apartment was very clean and offered all the conveniences for a weeklong stay. The train station is only a 10 minute walk which was great for our day trips. The Mercado Centrale is 5 minutes away, there are many coffee shops and restaurants and convenience stores 5-10 minutes walk. We walked around the north side of the Arno River each day and two days we walked over the bridges to the south side of the Arno also, about 20 minutes. Sergio is a wonderful host, provided excellent and timely communication. We give Sergio and his wife our most enthusiastic recommendation and will definitely plan to stay here again when we return to Florence.

A great place to start your day!
This apartment is a lovely respite in a sea of travelers. It is equipped with whatever you might need. There is a nice garden area to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine after sightseeing. The location is easily accessible to everything. You will find the hosts to be friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon!

Casa Rabatti and hosts Sergio and Patrizia are 5 star
It was a pleasure staying at Casa Rabatti this October. Sergio Falcini and his charming wife Patrizia Rabatti are super hosts! I was very fortunate to find them on VRBO. They are warm, caring, responsible people and as hosts they want to make their clients have a remarkable vacation. Sergio came by daily to see if I needed anything. He is very available and answers promptly. My apartment Leonardo was very secure and I felt safe as the entrance corridor has three locked doors. The key system is excellent and very simple to use. The apartment was immaculate and Patrizia has added special touches like stenciled ceilings, pretty chandeliers, Ginori bone china and nice, clean linens. The shower was excellent and always warm. The marvelous extra is the beautiful Italian garden which Patrizia keeps. It is tranquil with a fountain and I would keep the French doors open in order to bring the garden inside. The garden is a jewel in a bustling city and wonderful to come home to after a day of sightseeing. When Patrizia saw that my back was bothering me after walking all day she brought me a gift of a case of bottled water. She also was marvelous in correcting my Italian when I made mistakes. After a short while I felt that Patrizia and Sergio were my friends. The are both "buoni, bravi, and belli"! The apartment is close to a small supermarket and the fabulous and fascinating Central Market. It is within walking distance of all major sites but it is in the neighborhood of San Lorenzo with Michelangelo's Medici tombs; The Convent and Museum of San Marco with Fra Angelico frescoes; and the Convent of San Apollonia with Andrea del Castagna's fresco of the Last Supper. I highly recommend the Casa Rabatti.

An oasis of peace with a beautiful garden
This property is beautifully quiet set at the back of a building and facing a beautiful garden which we could sit in. Zero noise day and night in our apartment after the busy, bustling centre of Florence which is 8 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment was sumptuously clean and the bed was large and super comfortable and so we slept very well. The amenities are top notch - kettle, coffee maker, cooker, fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair dryer. Made our stay home from home. It was lovely to be able to eat breakfast outside and to be able to have a pre-dinner drink on our patio before going out for dinner. There is an excellent supermarket 5 minutes walk away and we enjoyed their home made pasta one evening in. Sergio was the perfect host and we were welcomed to the apartment with a lovely bottle of wine. A perfect haven of peace and comfort.

My husband and I loved this apartment …..a very nice patio and a lovely garden to enjoy a glass of wine after a busy day!!!Sergio ( the manager) was extremely helpful!!! We will definitely stay here again if and when we return to beautiful Florence!!

Great stay at Apartment Leonardo!
This is a wonderful little gem in the heart of Florence. The apartment is beautiful and well taken care of. Sergio was very flexible with us and met us on check in. He thoroughly explained the apartment and helped us with suggestions for local dining and shopping. He also arranged for a cab for us and was always available to talk if we had a question. The apartment itself is beautiful with very high ceilings and marble floors and bathroom. The unit was very clean and the garden just off the kitchen is wonderful. The building is very secure and close to many major attractions. When we come back to Florence we will only stay with Sergio.

Amazing stay in Firenze
My family was visiting Florence for the first time. Sergio met us at the apartment upon arrival. Sergio’s place was perfect for us: great size for a family of 3 or 4, immaculately decorated, amazing ceiling details, well stocked kitchen, beautiful garden in the courtyard to enjoy an evening meal. Extra points for air conditioner in both rooms since it was pretty hot in August. The apartment is on the first floor of the historic building on a quiet block of old town just minutes for Mercado Centrale, Duomo, all the museums, shops, and restaurants. I highly recommended staying with Sergio!

Lovely Apartment with garden patio
Beautiful apartment with lovely garden patio on which you can enjoy your morning coffee. Great location, 5 minutes from the Duomo and the central market. We walked to all the museums and sights around town. Has AC- critical for summer heat relief. Sergio, the host, was quick to respond to questions prior to our arrival. He also set up another bed for a last minute addition to our group. Highly recommend this unit. Hope to return someday!

A piece of heaven in the heart of Florence
Set in a peaceful garden this comfortable well equipped apartment was perfect to relax in and walking distance to the treasures of Florence. Patricia and Sergio were the perfect hosts, with our every need catered for. Charming and lovely people. They did something very special for us that we will never forget and we thank them once again.

We cannot say enough about this little apartment. Beautiful, light and comfortable. The patio area is perfect to enjoy a quiet moment before a busy day or wind down at the end. Sergio greeted us and walked us through the apartment and answered any questions we had. He also had a nice bottle of wine for us which was thoughtful. We enjoyed the quiet area at night. A fresh set of towels arrive after our second of five nights which was most appreciated. We walked everywhere from this location. Sergio was the best host we have encountered in our VRBO stays. No question we would return here again.

Beautiful property with ideal location and outstanding hospitality.
The location of this beautifully restored ground floor property is ideal for walking to all of the major sights in Florence. In addition, it is just minutes away from the Florence Central Market where you can buy all kinds of wonderful local products for preparing your meals at home or sampling all the wonderful foods and wines of Italy already prepared for you in the large communal eating space on the second floor of this market. In addition to the market, are lots reasonably priced restaurants just steps away from the apartment. You can find everything you need within walking distance . We enjoyed many of our meals on the sunny garden patio just outside our kitchen doors. The attention to every detail in the restoration and decoration of this beautiful property is both beautiful and functional, right down to the towels and bed linens. The bathroom and shower are huge especially by European standards and there was a washing machine and drying rack made available to us. We were here for a little over a month this spring and it was the outstanding kindness and hospitality of the owners as well as the convenient location that convinced us to book it again this year for the month of December.
