Château plein de charme

Lieu idéal pour un week-end au vert entre amis ! L'organisation avec Mark et Fiona était particulièrement fluide et facile. Mark et Fiona ont été très arrangeants pour l'heure de départ. Le château est "dans son jus", plein de charme et très accueillants. J'ai souvent l'occasion de louer de grandes maisons et châteaux pour des week-end entre amis. Il s'agit très certainement de notre coup de cœur ! Je vous recommande vivement un séjour dans cette demeure.

Super séjour !

Très bon weekend passé en famille (cousinade) dans ce château. Des hôtes aux petits soins et très sympathiques qui ont donné un charme très Anglais à cette demeure. Des chambres immenses, des salons confortables et une cuisine très bien équipée. L'emplacement au centre de la Manche permet de visiter tous les centres d'intérêt sans faire trop de route. C'était top !

Beautiful, well located home with friendly helpful hosts.

Chateau le Mont Epinguet is a charming and historic house full of interesting contents. The home is well located for local markets, great restaurants and D-Day beaches. The host is delighted to help you make the most of your time in Normandy via insider recommendation. The well equipped kitchen was ideal for cooking for our extended family group of 25 people ranging in age from 5 to 89. Al fresco dining is available weather permitting. The dining room holds 20.

Très bon weekend

Le château est très sympa, beaucoup d’espace pour seulement 26 personnes. Décoration pleine d humour, très british comme les proprios ce qui nous a bien plu. Il y a plein de jeux dans une grange protégée pour les enfants. il y a plein de vaisselle/outils dans la maison, tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Proprios qui vivent à côté sur la propriété mais très cools, surtout avec le bruit des enfants.

Excellent séjour

Nous sommes un groupe d'amis de longue date comprenant 13 personnes femmes et hommes tous retraités. Il est dans nos tradition de fêter le nouvel an ensemble lors d'un séjour d'environ une semaine. Nous cherchons chaque année un logis confortable de neuf chambres, bien équipé pour cuisiner et prendre nos repas. Le Château d'Epinguet a rempli tous nos critères. Je citerai: -accueil chaleureux -vastes espaces pour nous réunir -chambres confortables -propriétaire serviable et connaissant très bien la région. Parmi tous les séjours que nous avons fait je considère que celui-ci fait partie du groupe de tête. -

Awesome property and great hosts

Our group had a wonderful 2nights weekend at this charming chateau. Awesome and very accomodating hosts. We were so delighted of their flexibility during our (very late) check-in on a Friday night and for allowing us to stay a bit longer upon check-out. We had a nice and spacious bedrooms for everyone. Clean and very organized everywhere. We had no problem at all, everyone enjoyed especially after having a small group party as an early Christmas celebration. We hope to be back and definitely highly recommended to those looking for a weekend getaway or group team building. The hosts speaks English so well and was a plus for us, who doesn’t speak well French. Thank you so much again Mark and Fiona. God bless you both

Week-end familial

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux en famille (12 adultes et 8 enfants). Quelques heures suffisent pour se sentir comme à la maison, de la cuisine aux chambres le château est très bien équipé, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Superbe château très convivial et agréable a vivre.

C'est un endroit merveilleux rempli de bonnes ondes, entouré d'un très beau parc fleuri. La maison est incroyablement agréable à vivre nous avons passé un week-end hors du temps. Grâce aussi a l'excellent accueil de Fiona et Mark.

Inoubliable, très confortable, identique à l'annonce

Lorsqu'on réserve des gîtes sur internet, il y a toujours la peur de tomber sur une annonce malhonnête et d'arrive sur place en ayant des mauvaises surprises. Ici, c'est tout l'inverse! Le château est exceptionnel, extrêmement bien équipé, tout est identique aux photos de l'annonce et à tout ce qui est annoncé. Mark est un hôte incroyable que je remercie de tout mon coeur pour sa compréhension, sa pédagogie, son accueil et sa présence. Nous avons pu fêter mon anniversaire sans aucun problème en faisant autant de bruit que voulu, entre amis au pied de la cheminée. C'était un séjour incroyable, les lits étaient très confortables, les salles de bain très modernes malgré l'ancienneté du château... Tout était parfait ! Je n'oublierai jamais ce week-end et j'ai hâte d'y retourner. Je conseille à tous de mettre un jour les pieds chez Mark et Fiona, merci mille fois je ne vous oublierai pas ! Charlotte

Le château est un endroit parfait pour se retrouver en famille. Chacun à son intimité grâce aux grandes chambres et nombreuses salles de bain. Les différents salons sont très cosys et plus particulièrement celui où se trouve la grande cheminée. Une incroyable demeure !

Un incroyable weekend passé entre amis dans cet extraordinaire manoir ! Un lieu tout simplement magnifique, et dans une très belle région. Le château en lui-même est gigantesque. Les pièces sont encore plus grandes que ce que les photos pourraient laisser croire, et le jardin est lui aussi d’un charme fou. Nous sommes restés un long weekend à 22 personnes, et tout le monde a adoré cette résidence, ses nombreux salons, cette multitude de chambre toutes aussi confortables les unes que les autres, ainsi que l’énorme salle à manger, très convivial, et cette immense cuisine ultra fonctionnelle. C'est simple, absolument rien ne nous a manqué, si ce n’est d’avoir plus de temps pour profiter davantage du charme de ces lieux ! Un énorme merci enfin à Mark et Fiona pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur aide à tous les niveaux. Nous n’avons qu’une idée en tête, c’est de revenir le plus vite possible :)

A charming Chateau in a tranquil setting

Brimming with character, this Chateau is ideally suited to accommodate large groups of friends/ family with young children. Our children and dogs were in seventh heaven with plenty of outside space to keep them entertained for hours. For a winter stay like ours, the large Inglenook fire was a huge feature and a welcome way to relax in the evenings. The Chateau offers a vast amount of accommodation over 3 floors. The top floor with its bedrooms and kitchen/ sitting room made for a great "den" for the children. The condition of the decor is not perfect however this actually suited our group well and allowed for a more relaxing stay. Whilst the owners Fiona and Mark were not present during our stay, they were a delight to deal with.
