Perfect location and amenities for large family or groups.

Can't get a better location and amenities then this villa. Three of the bedrooms were not in the main house but up the hill at the top of the property. One of these rooms did not have hot water for the entire week, the second had a ceiling leak when it rains. There was no room cleaning in the top three bedrooms. The place is a little worn and needs to be updated and repaired in several areas. With that said, the chef was exceptional as well as the staff. The pool and view is the center point. I would rent it again but would expect it to be at a lower price to maintain its value.

A Cautionary tale: unkept and not ready on check-in! Do not have the adequate staff to upkeep villa.

1. Upon arrival: two strangers swimming in the pool, and one smoking half dressed in the villa. They continued to swim long after 4 pm. Had to request they leave. 2. Not ready or cleaned at 4pm. In fact 3 rooms were not ready until 5:30pm. 3. Several bedrooms and bathrooms smell like mold. There is cracked calk, wood, chipped paint, cracked moldings and many many missing pieces of tile. 4. Safety. I realize this villa is old, however throughout the property you will find tiles missing from walkways and chipped tile, unsafe. 5. It was in a lot of disarray. Chairs without cushions strewn haphazardly in various places. The patios were dirty, much of the furniture was missing cushions and the places that were supposed to have ponds were empty. 6. In the main parlor/dining room there is curtain hanging that hides a plethora of hidden junk from outdoor cushions to linens to the ironing board. All thrown behind this old giant curtain. 7. Pool: the pool was dirty and green upon arrival. The patios around the pool were dirty and many chaise lounge cushions were torn. I had tomthrn them upside down to hide them. The stairs leading down to the pool are very unsafe as many are missing pieces of cement. 8. We did not have Wi-Fi as advertised, the entire time. We were told for many days that it would be fixed but it never was. 9. No working safe. We were told there was a safe and upon arrival no safe. You book activities through one woman, very limited resources.
