Why they chose this property

Ólafsfjörður is one of the most beautiful fjord in Iceland, yet not so visited. It is authentic: the mountains are untouched, few people around, friendly locals in nearby town and a few farmers.
If you want the essence of Icelandic country site culture, this is the place to see.

What makes this property unique

Hidden Cottages stand out due to the location, high class windows and hot tubs.
The location is in the "middle of nowhere" yet only a few minutes drive to the next town and attractions. It is surrounded by mountains and green fields, with views out the fjord over lake Ólafsfjarðarvatn and to the ocean.
Due to no light pollution, the location is the best for Northern Lights.
