Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Public car park, at cost. No smoking.. This Grade II listed flat is quiet and peaceful whilst being just a stone’s throw from everything this beautiful city has to offer. Flat 5 is a third-floor apartment with one double bedroom, the perfect accommodation for a couple. The apartment is well equipped for a very comfortable city centre holiday base. Although there is a huge choice of restaurants and pubs within strolling distance, if you did fancy rustling up a meal this kitchen has everything you could need. After a busy day exploring the local sites relax on one of the two sofas in front of the Smart TV. This is the perfect spot for seeing all the iconic sights within easy walking distance.
Winchester has a lot to offer, from historic attractions including the medieval cathedral, the nearby ruins of Wolvesey Castle and the Winchester City Mill, a working 18th-century corn mill, to high street shopping with alley ways and independent shops. There are also traditional ale houses and highly acclaimed restaurants, plus nearby walks with beautiful views at St Catherine’s Hill Nature Reserve. You can also enjoy a day out to Beaulieu Motor Museum, Jane Austin’s House in Chawton and discover the heritage at Bombay Sapphire Distillery, all a short drive away.
A little further afield visit the historic dockyard city of Portsmouth and its brand retail outlet, Gunwharf Quays, is just a 30-minute drive away. 15 miles away is the New Forest, which has something for everyone - beautiful scenery, wildlife, pub lunches, historic buildings, walks and cycle ways. You could also do a day trip to the Isle of Wight, just a ferry trip from Lymington or Southampton.
