Great location. The state of the 'apartment' is very poor. Old appliances, old strange couch....

Comforting, tasteful and perfect

Just gorgeous . Tastefully and smartly laid out spaces with attention to detail and respect for the building . Home away from home . Clean , bright , comfortable, quiet and charming. Stunning views of the river life. Great neighbourhood. Supermarket and bakery on the doorstep. Paola is a divine woman of character and charm . A great host . Tidy and comfortable apartment close to the centre.

We stayed in Casa Archi 1. Perfect for a couple or a couple with one child like us who stayed on the large sofa bed. It is equipped with evything you need and Paola is so welcoming and helpful at any time. There is secure parking in a gated courtyard downstairs which is really hard to find and so good for just a little extra cost. Well worth it if you have a car. It is about 10 minutes lovely walk to the old town and then the beauty of old Verona is all there to enjoy. There is a supermarket just 150metres away up the street and round the corner. A very comformfortable stay and perfect for what we needed.

My sister and partner were staying at this beautiful accomodation. I asked Paolo to arrange a surprise birthday bottle of champagne to be delivered to the apartment. Riverside Haven

The apartment overlooks the Adige River and affords a great view of the river and of the old castle downstream. Although I have found Verona a bit confusing in the past with its winding medieval streets, it was impossible to get lost this visit. By walking along the river, one is soon in the historic center. The owner has done an excellent job providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. Within a couple of minutes there is a well-stocked grocery store and a tobacconist's shop where bus tickets are sold. The #30 bus stops about a 5-minute walk from the apartment, and I was able to take it to the train station upon departure, making everything easy.

Prima verblijf

Centraal gelegen in Verona, alles is op loopafstand te doen. Heel fijn dat er airco aanwezig is. Zonder met deze warmte is haast niet te doen. Gezellig ingericht. Mooi uitzicht. We kijken terug op een hele fijne week.

Rustig en toch centraal

Een heel plezierige locatie in een rustig groot pand met uitzicht over de snelstromende rivier Adige en het Castelvecchio. Alles wat je nodig hebt binnen korte loopafstand.

Didn't want to leave

I recently stayed almost 2 weeks in Verona in this lovely apartment and was not ready to leave when my "time" was up. Paola has done an amazing job decorating this place and making it comfortable and easy to live in. I was a single traveler, but for a couple it would also be fine. There is a staircase to the bedroom (which has a low ceiling height for taller people) that might be harder for some travelers. Other than the beautiful apartment, and Paola's amazingly helpful and friendly personality, there is also Verona ... the perfect Italian town, large enough to be interesting, small enough not to be overwhelmed. This apartment was in the perfect location to get to the tourist attractions on foot without being in the midst of the tourists. San Zeno is such a cute neighborhood. I didn't leave town very often because I loved Verona so much, but I did catch a train up to Bolzano for a day and was so happy how easy it was. I did not have a car with me and did not feel I needed one for visits to Venezia, Vicenzo, Bolzano. I am already planning my next stay. Grazie mille Paola per tutto!!! Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!!

Archi Verona

Pleasant location upon the river . A bit of a walk to Piazza Bra but a mostly pleasant walk as much of the journey to the centrale area is via a scenic promenade along the river.

Fun Place to Stay

The apartment was quirky and cute. We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a nice location on the river and close to walk into the city center. There are a few sets of steps in the apartment so keep in mind when booking if stairs are an issue. Paola is very quick to respond and worked with us on our change in travel needs after booking. We would definitely recommend and will stay here again if we return to Verona.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer sehr guten Lage, man ist in nur ein paar Minuten Fußweg in der wunderschönen Stadt Verona. Konnten direkt nach der Ankunft in die Wohnung, Kontakt per WhatsApp oder E-mail zur Vermieterin war immer problemlos und man bekam immer schnell eine Antwort. Vermieterin ist der sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder nehmen,war alles bestens und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Traumhafte Unterkunft im Zentrum von Verona

Wir als Familie haben eine Woche in Verona verbracht und fanden das Appartement perfekt. Von der alten Altstadt ist man in weniger als 10 Minuten im Zentrum. Ein Opernbesuch können wir nur empfehlen. Auch zum Gardasee sind es nur ca. 40 Minuten mit dem Auto. Der Kontakt zu Paola war unkompliziert. Sie war immer erreichbar und hat alle Fragen sofort gelöst. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an eine so nette Vermieterin. Wir kommen wieder. 😊

Great location....definitely quirky!

We spent 4 nights at Casa Archi 2 which is the small apartment with the bed on a mezzanine level. The apartment is fine for 2 people for a short stay. Our SatNav wanted us to take a route through a pedestrian area, so I recommend you get instructions from Paola, or have a look at the one way systems around the property. You can park in a small secure courtyard for 10 Euros a night. We enjoyed the view of the river (very fast flowing after the rains) and watching the antics of the birds. The balcony with a small table and chairs get the sun in the morning. You have a view of the Castelvecchio Bridge which is just a few minutes walk away. The decor is interesting and quirky. The apartment has a fridge, oven, 2 electric cooking hobs, full sized dish washer and a washing machine. There's 2 coffee machines (filter and capsule) and a toaster. This was all good for us as I have to cook because of dietary requirements when we are away. The steps up to the mezzanine are quite steep and with the low ceiling, my 6' husband found it safest to dress and undress downstairs! The location for the 'must see' sights of Verona is excellent. A few minutes walk to the Arena. A Migros supermarket and bakery also a few minutes away. We were very grateful to find this apartment. Communications with Paola were very good and she even sent me some video clips of the apartment. I admit when I made my booking, I thought I had booked one of the larger apartments as we wanted to be comfortable and sofa beds are not the best for my back. Again at the time of my booking, it wasn't clear which photos were which apartment. I can see that Paola has tried to address this as the Casa Archi 2 photos are now at the end of the photos that you look through. If you have any doubts, then contact Paola who is a delightful, friendly and helpful hostess.

Alles war perfekt!

Ausgezeichnete ruhige Lage direkt an der Etsch - das Stadtzentrum, die Arena di Verona und die Altstadt sind leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. In der Nähe gibt es auch einen Supermarkt und eine gute Pizzeria. Das Apartment im Maisonette-Stil ist außergewöhnlich, sehr elegant und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein kleineres Bad im unteren Bereich und über ein luxuriöses Bad mit einer großen Badewanne im oberen Bereich. Wir haben sehr bequem geschlafen. Die Küche ist liebevoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Paola über WhatsApp klappte hervorragend. Als wir an einem Abend plötzlich kein heißes Wasser hatten, waren sie und ihr Mann innerhalb von Minuten erreichbar und das Problem gelöst. Wir haben uns in Casa Archi rundum wohlgefühlt und alles war perfekt. Lieben Dank an Paola für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Perfect location - Great apartment!

We loved this location! Easy walking along the river to Castel Vecchio, Piazza Bra/Arena, Piazze Erbe, and to nearby Piazza San Zeno. We personally enjoyed the ristorantes right around San Zeno very much. The corner market has everything you need for making your own late afternoon anti-pasta or picnic lunch. The apartment bed in the loft was comfortable, we slept well. It was great to have a bathroom located in the loft. Having a washing machine with very nice drying rack was a bonus - really helped us out being able to get our laundry caught up. We only left the right window open in the living room because we could pull the screen all the way down to keep bugs out, which offered perfect breeze to dry out our hanging laundry. You can hear the church bells in the distance, very charming. Quiet location at night. Available parking behind the locked gate was one of the biggest reasons I chose this apartment to begin with - but it offers so much more than that. A dish washer and amazing toaster were great to have. The Nespresso was easy to use for that first of the morning coffee fix. We really enjoyed lounging on the big L-shape couch, the first flat we rented that actually had a really comfortable couch. We highly recommend this place and if in Verona again, would most definitely stay here.

Gefiel uns!

Sehr nette und bemühte Vermieterin, die immer sofort auf WhatsApp-Anfragen geantwortet hat! Stellplatz auf dem Hof, sehr ruhige Lage, fußläufig zum Zentrum der Stadt und zur Arena di Verona. Für Menschen, die Gelenksprobleme haben, nicht so geeignet, da sehr viele und steile Stufen. Danke an Paola!
