Our stay was awesome. The Villa was the perfect size for 14 of us in fact, we could have easily had 2 more as we never used the beautiful pool house. I have to say as someone who uses VRBO quiet a bit, The communication and professionalism from Sarah was unmatched. She was so forthcoming with information and help from the moment we book the home. Some of the highlights - The house was clean, spacious and super functional and the pool was simply amazing. - Andrew and Oneta took great care of us, helped with anything and everything - the short walk to the beach was delightful - public buses ran often and were super easy - fruit trees produced!! I Highly recommend

An unforgettable trip
We had such a fabulous holiday at this fantastic home. Its spacious, brilliantly equipped for lots of guests, well cared for and has the most spectacular garden and outside spaces. Location is perfect. A short walk to a vibrant local beach with beautiful swimming but also easy access to other beaches and the fantastic local busses - an experience not to missed! The communication, information and tips provided by Sarah were great. We took her recommendations on many things: Sean the driver, Sophia's delicious cooking, Nick's boat trip and the local restaurants it was all superb. This is truly a very special place. Thank you for sharing it with us and making our stay so memorable.

Holiday to celebrate 60th birthday
After 2 years of waiting due to covid we finally made it. The wait was well worth it. The house was amazing the staff friendly and Sarah was very helpful and gave us lots of info, she arranged transfers and put us in touch with Sophie who cooked us 2 fabulous dinners. Macaroni pie was everyone’s favourite. We spent most of our time on the veranda which overlooked the garden and large pool which everyone loved jumping into and chilling. We all loved the monkeys that visited everyday. We hope to go back to Barbados again and stay at Mullins Bay House. Susan 😃

The hosts have thought of everything- the house is very roomy, clean and comfortable- with on-site staff to assist with everything you need. The grounds are beautiful, quiet and well maintained - the beach just a short stroll away - all in all, a wonderful week with lots of great memories. Many thanks to Sarah and Simon for being such gracious and helpful hosts.

Excellent villa in a fantastic place, near the beach.
This villa has everything a family could ask for. After waiting 2 years to celebrate our 50th anniversary with all the family, we were not disappointed. Thank The villa is large and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. It is very well equipped and all three areas have there own facilities, very handy when 12 people are getting ready to go out. The outside veranda easily accommodated all of us in comfort and we spent several memorable night enjoying meals whilst looking at the beautiful garden. The gardens are very spacious and are well maintained giving the children plenty of space to play in. The pool is large and was well used every day. Attention to detail is very important and Simon and Sarah seem to have thought of most things, from booking taxis for arrival and departure, providing clean beach and room towels every other day and arranging a welcome meal and groceries on our arrival. The beach is very close bye, about 5 minutes walk away with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The green monkeys that arrive in the garden each morning, provided lots of entertainment without ever feeling threatening to us. Andrew who looked after us whilst we were there answered all out questions and was very helpful. All in all a fantastic holiday that will be remembered for many years to come. Thank you to Simon and Sarah for letting us stay in your beautiful villa.

The PERFECT Barbados vacation
I cannot capture how amazing our vacation was at Mullins Bay House without acknowledging that Sarah And Simon were by far the kindest and most helpful vrbo hosts we have ever had. They were our personal concierges who made this trip wonderful. The house is perfect for a multigenerational family trip. Our favorite moments were meals on the patio overlooking the yard and pool and waking up and having coffee back on the patio again. The house is amazingly well located. It is a less than five minute walk to the beach and located between Speightstown and Holetown to take advantage of both. We loved eating at Local & Co and Cicis (which is walking distance), lounging at Gibbs beach or renting chairs at the Sea Shed. Another highlight of the trip was our Catamaran trip on Calypso Cruises, again based on another Sarah recommendation. This stay was really just wonderful

Paradise within Paradise
Best property I have ever stayed at in Barbados, the house was perfect for our group of friends and family. We had 11 people and a toddler and not only did it fit everyone comfortably it was perfect. Close walk to the beach, safe, clean, quieter part of town, laundry, pool, covered patio nice yard, air conditioning, 3 kitchens, every room had a bathroom. It was perfect for a big group of people. Andrew the house manager was more then helpful, not only did he help get us some basic groceries for the house since we arrived late Sunday we also had a taxi with and extra car to haul our luggage from the airport. That’s going above and beyond everyone was very impress with the service provided. After a few days of being there we had Andrew cook us a traditional dinner that he brought over and it was amazing. Of course a few of us got sun burnt from the catamaran which by the way was amazing as well we had the same taxi driver Shawn pick us up to take us to the boat. But when we got back we saw Andrew and told him we were burnt and he went and grabbed us some fresh aloe vera for us to apply and it was the best healing agent we have ever used. The cleaners were great they were very friendly and kept our house clean. Thank you guys for having such a great property it really made our vacation so much better then expected. Will be back for sure.

Great location and wonderfully attentive staff!
We rented the entire location for a large family gathering (17) and had an amazing time. Plenty of room and a wonderful garden with lovely pool. A short walk to the beach and a few great restaurants & bars. Simon and Sarah are wonderful hosts and they have local professional and attentive staff to make sure everything goes smoothly. Speightstown is a walkable distance and has several food shopping and dining options. The house is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood with plenty of security lighting and safety measures implemented. We would certainly rent this spot again.

A wonderful holiday in a beautiful property
We stayed as a family group with 11 adults and 3 little ones. The two properties combined (main house and pool apartment, 7 bedrooms in all) provided us with more than adequate accommodation. The location is excellent, being in a quiet and safe neighbourhood no more than 400m from the nearest beach (Mullins). The property was clean, well furnished and spacious. The daily staff, Andrew and Oneta looked after us well and made sure we had everything we needed. The garden area was well kept and a good size with tropical trees and plants throughout. The pool was also a good size and well maintained. Wildlife abounded including hummingbirds, ring necked parrots and two troupes of green monkeys that came often. The property's location allowed easy reach to both Speightstown and Holetown with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops (inc the high-end Massys supermarket). Must do trips and attractions are Harrisons Cave, the animal reserve, Cool Runnings catamaran, Holetown beach (inc Surfside bar for live sport and good basic food), Speightstown beach inc the Little Bristol and Jumas (great for lunch + sunbeds on a lazy afternoon). Bus transport is regular (yellow Reggae buses for the brave, blue buses otherwise) but a car is essential if you want to venture away from the coast. Overall, an amazing experience that we would highly recommend. Thank you to owners Simon and Sarah for lending us their little piece of paradise.

Family holiday for two weeks in beautiful Barbados
Our family with four generations stayed at this property for two weeks. It is a really lovely place to stay and the owners arranged everything we asked for including our transport from the airport, our arrival dinner,a cot and pushchair for the baby nothing was too much trouble. The gardens and pool are beautiful and provides a very peaceful setting. The property itself is spacious and comfortable and very well managed. A short walk to the beach and very well positioned to enjoy everything Barbados has to offer including car rental. I would highly recommend this property you will will like us always want to return.

The main property and surrounding were beautiful it was a great location, delightful place
We really enjoyed and loved the property as a large group gave us lots of space to mix and mingle. Andrew & Keelan were wonderful warm and friendly happy to help, she is an amazing housekeeper. however there were Shortfalls, mice in pool apartment, and by main house which they tried to resolve. WiFi didn’t work in main bedroom and sometimes not at all in 2bd apt area. housekeeper for main house not that friendly, didn’t know if she was around unless you saw her. Semi cleaned parts of house if not in use, didn’t do to same standard as keelan. also having to ask permission to use facilities ie laundry rm, mop or room paid for in advance. The latter can be viewed as a misunderstanding as we all have different expectations and experiences of self catering facilities. All in all none of this stopped us from having a delightful stay. The owners are also very welcoming, friendly people, so would definitely recommend this home despite the negative points.

Paradise found!
This estate is a perfect vacation rental for groups ( family/friends). There is ample space and privacy with sufficient gathering spaces to come together . The proximity to Mullins Bay Beach makes "beaching" a breeze. Having the luxury of a pool on site was ideal, as the seas became quite turbulent during our stay, precluding swimming in the sea for several days. The owners are very engaged in the process and experience of renting their home and provide detailed information and assistance, which really enhanced our stay. The grounds are very picturesque and well kept. The monkeys really do come to visit the mango tree nearly everyday. The birds are plentiful and the foliage exotic. Many thanks to Sarah, Simon, Andrew and Oneta for creating paradise found!

The place to stay!
Lovely! Fantastic! That also describes Barbados! The house worked out great. Every bedroom has a bathroom with the exception of one. The back porch was where we lived. Have your coffee ready between 7:30 and 8:30 am to watch the monkeys play in the garden. Pool excellent to swim in after a day at the ocean. Beautiful yard. A nice walk to the beach, away from the 'noise'. Discovered the beach chairs a few days into our stay...make sure you look for them. Gibbs Beach worth the walk! Speightstown is a must. You can walk that too! Take the bus, it is a grand ride. Interact with the local people, they are very kind and helpful. Sarah was very helpful and even allowed us to stay a bit longer on check out day! Much appreciated! Try snorkelling everywhere but especially Almond Bay....Thanks Barbados for an eventful place to spend time with family and enjoy God's beautiful creation.

Our family wants to say a big thank you to Sarah and Simon and the hard working staff! They made our trip wonderful. Great Location. Great House and Great Staff
Firstly thank you to Sarah and Simon for allowing us to rent your fantastic property. It very much feels like home from home. 16 of us travelled out to barbados and each one of us has had the most fantastic time with many people already planning return trips for next year. We arrived to find the house in immaculate condition as well as the grounds. The children and adults if we're honest enjoyed the pool and watching the monkeys run through the grounds at night. All in all it was a great holiday and we would 100% recommend this villa Dominic and Family

A Home From Home!
This was our second time staying at Mullins Bay House, we loved it so much the first time it was an easy decision to book the house again. There were 12 in our group, age range from 6 to 80 years old. The estate is brilliant for family groups, flexible accommodation, generous outside space with beautifully kept gardens and a large pool. The house is clean, comfortable and Andrew and Juanita looked after us very well. Mullins Bay House is a great base to explore the Island from. Everything is within easy reach, from the beautiful West coast beaches to the rugged and wild East coast. We highly recommend Calypso Cruises run by Nick & and his father Val Knowles. They offer several packages, there's a fantastic 5 hour lunch cruise where you can swim with turtles, snorkel and explore shipwrecks......with unlimited food and drink! A hit with both young and old. We also did the 3 hour sunset cruise this time which was fantastic too. There are a large and varied range of eateries to choose from on the Island but if you want to eat 'in' the local fish markets are great offering lovely fresh fish (and advise on how best to cook it) and the vegetable stalls by the roadside offer a huge variety of fresh local produce. So if you want a completely chilled out holiday lazing on the beach or by the pool with a rum punch in hand or a more active holiday exploring the Island, look no further. Thank you Simon and Sarah for opening up your house for us to enjoy...again!

Wonderful home for family fun!
The home was just as described or even better. There is plenty of space for privacy and lots of room for group gatherings. We ate all our meals on the spacious back porch. Had many fun activities in the very large back yard....even a synchronized swimming show by three 'ladies' in the pool. This is a great spot for family vacations. We had 13 and plenty of room. Andrew was terrific. Always available for our needs. Pretty Mullins beach just a very short walk from the house!

Beautiful Mullins Bay Estate
The Estate is beautiful. The gardens are full of mango, coconut and lime trees and even an Avocado bush. I loved the fragrant scent of the Frangipani tree wafting across the gardens - if only I could have one of these in my garden here in England! The property is very spacious, comfortable and well kept by the staff who were very helpful and interesting to talk to about what the island was like when my father lived here. Barbados was even more special than I expected. Thank you so much. Rosemary.

Mullins Bay Estate was wonderful
The setting is very peaceful except when the monkeys run across the roof - but what a lovely sight to see such beautiful creatures sitting on the fence eating mangos. They even kindly left some for us to enjoy! All 3 generations loved every minute of our stay. Andrew, Oneta and Claudette were so helpful and efficient, a really good team. We enjoyed many fish BBQs in the garden and some visits to local restaurants recommended by Simon & Sarah. Both beaches Mullins and Gibbs were visited several times for their different offerings. Also JuJu's for the fab rum punches. That slowed some of us down. Children enjoyed the pool for hours on end. There was even a session of aquatic Karoke. The only problem .... is the withdrawal symptoms now we are back in a wet UK and the boring referendum is still not finished. Planning to return for more. Thank you very much from all of us.
