Set in beautiful grounds, Elm Place offers ample living space and can be rented as a five bed or can be partially rented as a three bed or two bed. Finished to a high standard, whilst retaining a warm, homely feel, Elm Place is the perfect get away for four to ten people.

Enjoyable stay

A beautiful peaceful property that is maintained to a very high standard. Property manager very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay a family of 10 there were plenty of spread out space

Family fun

I had all sorts of ferry problems but Sally was so kind she is a great introduction to our stay. The house was super ideal for our big mix of age groups and we all came away agreeing we had had a brilliant time

Wonderful christmas stay

We stayed for 3 nights over christmas, and it was absolutely perfect. We were a large family of 9 adults, plus and child and a baby, and there was so much space for all of us. Much bigger and even nicer than it looks in the photos! The property being two houses opened into one meant we had 2 living rooms to relax in, and 2 kitchens to cook all the Christmas food in. One of the dining rooms easily fitted us all in. It really was just perfect. Most of the rooms had ensuites which was a bonus, although one of the bedrooms was much smaller than the others. Plenty of parking, we had 5 vehicles between us all and there was still room for more. The house itself is well maintained, very clean, warm, and they even decorated it for christmas. There is a really good pub just a 3 min drive away too. Sally the property manager gave us a warm welcome and was so helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great space for spending time with family

We were attending a wedding in Carisbrook so needed a big house for all the family. This exceeded our expectations as was very spacious and well furnished, equipped. We all enjoyed playing football and cricket on the grass with 2 nets. Although we weren’t there much, only really to sleep on this visit we all want to come back and stay for longer in order to explore the Island and have time together in the beautiful house and garden.

Great short break

Lovely place for a family break. Lots of space to be together but also to be apart if you wished. Very practical with everything you needed. Easy access especially to East side of the island but nothing far away. Would recommend and would definitely stay again . Would have liked to stay longer

A really fantastic place to stay for large groups - Had a fantastic new year stay

We had a fantastic stay over New Year’s at Elm Place, with there being lots of room for 11 adults (the pictures don’t do justice to how large the building is). The ideal place to stay at if you’re after somewhere where you can have everyone together (either in one of the living rooms or dining rooms), but also give people the opportunity to find their own space. With four of the bedrooms being en-suite, it meant there were plenty of bathrooms. House overall was really well equipped with all the utensils we needed in the kitchen and lots of chairs and places to sit. As it was winter we didn’t get to take full advantage of the conservatory or the outside tables and chairs. I can’t recommend enough, especially as the property was very reasonably priced. Location means it’s a short drive to lots of things and not too far from the major towns. Definitely a place you need a car to get to and travel around from - there are also some great walks around the local area. Sally was very welcoming and was quick to help when we ran into a small problem.

Huge space for our family at Elm Place

Lovely property with a lot of space and lots of different seating areas if needed. Well equipped and friendly management. Only a couple of things we would change - but it is only a weeks holiday when all’s said and done! We struggled with both ovens; the aga smoked and took ages to heat up so we only used the top (never cooked on one before) and we found the electric oven in the small kitchen to be unusual and difficulty in understanding the instructions! Having said that - we managed. We would have liked Smart TV’s with Netflix etc as it did rain a lot while we were there. Everyone who has Netflix has their own Netflix login and account but we couldn’t use them without a Smart TV. A big plus point was that the site manager, Sally mended the washer which had got blocked the week before. With three young children in our party we would have struggled without a washing machine. We enjoyed the outside area of field and football pitch. All in all a lovely holiday.

Family reunion

Perfect location in peaceful countryside with easy access to Sandy beach in Compton Bay. Cottage very spacious and well equipped. Hosts very helpful and happy to respond to any query. Beautiful weather throughout our stay. Enjoyed star and full moon gazing in the conservatory with our evening drinks! A very happy family reunion.

Lovely short break

The lodges are very spacious for the number of people who stayed. The lodge was very clean and the service received from Sally and Sue was exceptional. Sally was always on hand if you needed anything. The location of the lodge is right in the middle of everywhere you wanted to go but it does require travelling. There is a lovely country pub a short walk or drive away from the lodge that serves food. We all enjoyed our little get away and the weather was amazing too..

Lovely house for family get-together.

Lovely house for three generations to celebrate New Year together. There was a nice big kitchen, and plenty of room so adults and children could have their own living rooms, and separate upstairs areas for each family with children. It is in a rural area, so is quiet and peaceful, but not far from Newport for shopping, etc, and nowhere on the island is very far away.

Huge property ideal for 2 families

2 large adjoining properties brought together providing 2 large lounges and a huge kitchen (plus smaller one) for 2 families to come together whilst retaining privacy upstairs. Plenty of showers and loos for everyone 😀

3 Generation 70th Birthday celebration

Excellent, spacious, versatile and well equipped double house. Plenty of room for games whether on tables inside or football and cricket outside. Excellent kitchen facilities and plenty of meal seating for 4 children and 6 adults. Owners very helpful on arrival. This was a good base for exploring the island - Needles only 15 mins, Newport only 8 minutes, Blackgang Chine 15 mins, little beaches at Blake and Compton only 10 mis withfree parking for NT members!

Very spacious house for large family gatherings

There were 12 In our family party of mixed ages. We had a wonderful Christmas together in the house. It has very large rooms and was warm and cosy. It's also well situated and must be lovely in the summer. The only things that were mildly irritating was the temperamental WiFi - the reception is poor. Also with most of us taking showers in the morning, the water was sometimes quite cold. However the house is in a rural area, so probably these are to be expected.
